Location location location! I was within walking distance for everything. My husband and I stayed the weekend with our daughter, her partner and two small children. They took the first floor bed and bathroom and we had the top floor. Spacious and clean. Wonderful visit to a quaint town.
If you dream of staying in an renovated barn with wood beams and hard wood floors, this place is for you. It's perfectly convenient: right in the heart of downtown Wickford, and yet quiet. The porch overlooks a marsh, where birds come and go. There's plenty of parking, but, be forewarned, the parking lot partially floods at high tide. The only other negative is the A/C: it's a patchwork of window air conditioners, a mini-split and a thermostat-based system that doesn't quite cool the whole house. During a heat wave, the third bedroom is un-usuable. I'd still rent it again, maybe in the fall.
Didn't get directions to property until last minute and then had wrong info. Property a bit hard to find. Was a neat old home, though and if I had more time there, I would have enjoyed the location. Owner responded right away to help me find it.
We had a fabulous weekend in beautiful downtown Wickford! It was more room than the four of us needed and it worked out great.
Derek was very responsive and made sure we had no problems.
Hello everything was good, everything was nice but the controllers to the Tv did not work, only the volume and the turn on button work for some odd reason. I would suggest a sponge for the dishwashers
Quaint and cute, newly remodeled home just steps to downtown Wickford for shopping and restaurants. Short drive to town beach and playground. Blending the old with new bathrooms, laundry, and kitchen/appliances. High ceilings, new windows and refurbished hardwoods. Very clean. Well appointed kitchen and laundry. Very quiet with marsh view. Our family stayed here 4 days for our daughter’s wedding Sept 2025. Lots of space for bride and bridesmaids to get ready. Large parking lot. Home does have 13 steps to enter and the primary bedroom/bath is up another flight. Host very quick to respond to messages. Would definitely recommend staying here. *The home is difficult to locate even with gps as it is behind another building
