Lazy Bear is a luxurious 4-bedroom king-suite cabin, each with a private romantic ensuite bath and in-room Jacuzzi tub. Nestled in lush forest in the heart of The Great Smoky Mountains, just 10 mins from Pigeon Forge and 15 mins from Gatlinburg, This spacious two-story cabin accommodates up to 12 guests and is packed with entertainment options, including a hot tub, arcade-style driving game, multicade arcade game, fire pit, pool table, Foosball, and a fully-equipped kitchen.

LIVING ROOM – Custom wood carvings surround you in this stunning mountain cabin! The hand-carved forest scene on the cabin front doors opens to a warm knotty pine living room complete with a large HD TV hidden behind hand-carved doors situated atop a beautiful stone gas fireplace. The space is perfect for entertaining with the kitchen flowing into the living room and dining room with exquisite details like hand-carved posts featuring mountain animals. This space is ready for you to relax in the plush leather furniture and enjoy all the mountains have to offer including the two decks off the dining room, both with wooden rocking chairs. One deck offers a beautiful view of the valley and the other is a view of the forest. Fireplace season is from October through March.

RECREATION ROOM – Your entertainment haven awaits! This expansive room opens onto a large deck with a hot tub and a wooden table with benches. Inside, you’ll find:

• Multicade arcade game with 60 classic video games
• Game cabinet with assorted board games
• HD TV with cable service
• Stone-stacked gas fireplace

BEDROOMS – The cabin sleeps up to 12 guests with 4 knotty pine bedrooms each with their own TV, shower, bathroom, and luxurious spa tub. There are also 2, full-size, futons and a queen-size pull-out sofa. Each bedroom is appointed with beautiful cabin-themed quilts, hand-crafted log frame beds, and cozy comforters.

FIRE PIT - Private fire pit just steps from the cabin for your group. Custom swinging benches for you to relax and enjoy the lovely Smoky Mountain air in any season.

BALCONY / DECKS - 4 Decks each with wood rocking chairs, one with a hot tub and outdoor dining table. The upper deck has rocking chairs and a valley view to relax and enjoy the Smoky Mountain National Park.

DINING ROOM – Beautiful wooden cabin dining room with 8-person custom log dining room table. There is a bar top in the kitchen with 2 bar stools and two decks, immediately off the dining room with rocking chairs and tables

KITCHEN – Well appointed with all the major utensils, silverware, dishes, glasses, and cookware needed for you to create & serve gourmet meals. Electric stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker, drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc.

ROADS LEADING TO THE CABIN - The cabin is located on nice, paved mountain roads, but as with all of the Smoky Mountain roads, certain areas are narrow and steep at points. You shouldn’t have an issue with any standard car or truck, it’s nothing that would be a safety issue in our opinion outside of the winter months. During the winter months, we strongly recommend trip insurance, since there are no refunds for snow and ice. In difficult winter or storm-related weather situations, there can be delays in cleaning and check-in pending road conditions which can be outside of our control.

• Only 5.5 miles away from the entrance to Dollywood/Splash Country!
• Less than 6 miles away from this cabin is the beautiful Gatlinburg Community Center - a complex with an indoor swimming pool, basketball court, ping pong, bowling alley, weight room, and showers. For a very reasonable fee, visitors are welcome to take advantage of this beautiful complex.

• We provide a set of starter supplies to allow you to get settled when you arrive. They include 2 trash bags, 2 dishwasher pods, a paper towel roll, a small liquid dish soap bottle, toilet paper, a small bottle of shampoo, body lotion, body wash, conditioner, and a soap bar for each bathroom, towels, and bed linens. They are designed so that you are all set when you arrive but not to last the entire trip.
• Our close proximity to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park means there is lots of wildlife in our area - black bears, deer, wild turkeys, raccoons, coyotes, foxes, and more! Black bears visit the cabin often in Spring, Summer, and Fall. You may get lucky and catch a glimpse of one of these residents while enjoying the view from the deck. We also contract regular monthly pest services which treats for all pests from multiple types of bugs, mice, etc. Despite our regular treatments, given the proximity of the cabin to the park, it is possible these pests can temporarily enter the cabin. We immediately respond and treat if anything comes up and have found it is rare to come across anything like this.
