The house was nice and well stocked with everything you could need. The Gulf view was nice to see from porch and a short walk to the public beach. The host was very responsive.
The house was great! It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was a short, easy walk to the beach but felt secluded and private. We’d stay here again.
Great house in a quiet neighborhood with views of the Gulf from the front porch. All you could need for a peaceful vacation. East Pine is a special art of the island with almost 80 acres of bayside State Land to explore and a quick walk or golf cart ride to the beach.
We had a great time on the island and enjoyed this house and property. We brought our golfcart and enjoyed riding around the island. This house is just as described and has everything we needed for a great and relaxing weekend.
This is a great beach house with just a short walk to the water. The house has modern appliances and is very roomy. Communication with the owners was great, too.
This rental was the ideal location for a first ever men family gathering (5 men) with quick and easy accesses to the beach, bay, and State Park.
I highly recommend this very clean house with an excellent view to the Gulf.

Perfect
Perfect place for a family getaway. Short walk to the beach. Everything we needed was there and the stores just a short drive. The dolphins were fabulous. Our dogs enjoyed the beach almost as much as we did.

Nice rental
The rental was very nice, and was well equipped. No issues with check-in, rental agent was attentive and well informed about the property. Would recommend for most anyone looking for a somewhat out of the way location.

A Great Weekend Getaway
We loved our stay at this house! It had everything we needed and was in great condition. The house is across the street from the beach so beach access is not an issue, and it's also walking distance from restaurants and the light house so we walked to dinner at night. Robin was also great and was there to answer any questions that we might have had. We will come back!

Great Experience
My brother and I met up here for a week with our families and had a wonderful time. The house is very clean and well stocked. It's close enough to the beach, yet has a nice secluded feel in the back. Every touch point from booking, meeting with the realtor, and enjoying the house was simple and low stress. The only thing I could see improvement on was the grill. There is a small metal charcoal grill available. I would love to see it with a larger gas/propane option. Thanks for a great stay!

Spacious, new, and convenient
We rented this house in June and this was our first time visiting St. George Island and it will not be the last! The island was cute, not over crowded, and there was lots of nature to be seen! The house is about a block from the Gulf (5 minute walk) and every morning, we would wake up early to catch the sunrise and bring our coffee to the beach to watch the dolphins (which got REALLY close to shore) and even got to see some sea turtle eggs! The house has 2 lovely porches that were perfect for afternoon meals or just catching the sunset. We cooked several meals while we were there and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking necessities and more (pitchers, corkscrew, bottle openers, grill tongs/brush, etc). There was also plenty of towels and room for 7 people plus our dog and there's a TV in every room. There was nothing we didn't like about this rental and we would definite rentdefinite rent it again.

A Hidden Gem!
I'm not sure where to start our review. We knew that bad weather would be heading towards SGI. In our initial weather report, we were told there was an 80% chance of rain Sunday through Thursday. Seeing that we had already booked our house and that we had taken the time off from work, we decided to go regardless. Because the first Saturday was going to be clear, we drove most of the way down on Friday and arrived at the beach on Saturday morning. Knowing the weather report and that we may only have one or two clear days, the owners allowed us to check in at 10:00AM! I cannot tell you how much easier this made our first day, especially given that we have two dogs and a young son. We honestly thought this might be our only beach day and for the owners to be so generous was a pleasant and greatly appreciated surprise.
Well, the bad weather forecast not only got worse, it ended up turning into tropical storm Antonio. It was only one of 10 or 12 storms in the month of May since 1850 to turn tropical! We became even more grateful the owners had been so kind and allowed us the extra day. The forecast for the week was even worse at this point with a 90%-100% chance of rain every single day. We were sure our vacation was ruined. We made the best of the storm time with the many board games and cards that were provided. We feel extremely blessed though because after the storm passed on Monday, we had beautiful skies and pink skin by the end of the day on Tuesday. It did not rain again the rest of the trip and we were able to get beach time in every day!!
The home is beautiful with tile floors and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. There is a beautiful view of the water from the main deck and we were provided everything we would need for our trip. I don't recall ever staying in a rental where we didn't need to buy a kitchen utensil or pot/pan in order to cook.
As an avid fisherman, I think the closest beach access to this home (9th St.) was ideal as we caught over a dozen pompano, numerous Sea Trout, Whiting, Jacks, and even some sharks (little ones, of course!).
I'm sorry for the long review but we've never had an owner who was so willing to help a family make the best of a bad situation, even if it ended up being a great stay. We also want to thank Robin, the rental agent, for her help in making sure we were kept safe during the storm and making our stay one of our greatest vacations.
We'll be back next year!

We visited for a week and were extremely happy with our stay on the island. This house was situated perfectly between the ocean front and the bay where I could walk 2 blocks and fish on the bay side or we could all walk two blocks and swim on the beach. Great house and great property manager. See you next year!
The property had a great view of the ocean and a quiet location. Loved the balcony! The property was clean and had plenty of space for our group. The only issue we encountered was the internet service was poor and we could not connect.
Stayed here for a quick 3 day vacation with our two year old. Great location a short walk from the beach and also walkable into town. Had everything we needed. Only downside was the internet was too slow for streaming, but with the TV channels and DVDs provided this was not a big issue to entertain a grumpy toddler during a couple of hours of rain :).
It had been 25 years since we had been to St. George Island, Florida. It was wonderful to be back. So relaxing and peaceful. The house was clean and well stocked. The location was great and close to everything. We rediscovered a wonderful place! Thank you!
