Very comfortable stay. Only downside was dryer wouldn’t dry clothes. Great location, great views, friendly neighbors, and nice amenities. Would stay here again.
We had a pleasant stay. But we were not able to wash clothes because the dryer wouldn't dry. Had several ants in the kitchen. And not enough towels to last the length of our stay. But the scenery was beautiful.
The location is great and the unit has a lot of space for guests. Overall, it seemed clean but a lot of things didn't work or were lacking... clothes dryer took 5 hours to dry a load, 2 showers had no water pressure, oven took 1 hour to pre-heat, only a couple bath towels, etc.. Just generally lacked maintenance. Additionally, we were told to check in but the code didn't work so we had to call the emergency line for the property management.
You can't beat the view. You can see right down the channel. So much interesting stuff to look at. You're also on the top floor, so no loud neighbors above. Huge win. When you look to the left you can see the ocean, also. A million dollar view. The pool is also very nice and seemed to be well maintained. The beds were comfortable. The place was clean and well stocked. Personally, it was one of the best VRBO properties I've ever stayed at.You do need to be OK with stairs. It's 4 flights to the top. Their is also a room upstairs in the unit, and those stairs are a little dicey. The second step coming down is narrow. But take your time, the view is worth it.I love that every room has a full bath. That was perfect for our group. But the one thing I learned from a local was that Florida Ave and Canal Drive are both prone to flooding. If you accidentally book during a King Tide, you won't be getting to the property, and the rooms are non-refundable. I'm also curious how the flooding is during a regular full moon with a storm blowing in from the south. They have permanent signage ready to alert you of saltwater flooding. Worth noting and planning for. If they had contingecies for this inconvenience, then this is a 10 star unit.Don't let this deter you from renting this place. Just be super dilligent - and consider trip insurance for this spot. Literally the threat of flooding (which we didn't experience) was the only flaw we found. But if you want to
