Clean and spacious

We traveled to Phoenix to check off a bucket list item for my 85 year old father, to golf AZ. We were happy to find the house very clean with adequate necessities. We were unable to use the pool due to the chilly weather, however it appeared to be well maintained. The lawn service and pest control came while we were there and were very respectful of us being there and communicated their purpose. The location was central to the places we visited and the courses played. Shopping and groceries were nearby. The neighborhood was very quiet and allowed for quality time in the covered outdoor space and the grill was used most days.I would definitely stay here again. .

Lots of not functioning aspects & no property communication

I sent multiple messages to the property owner during our stay about non-functioning aspects of this home with no reply. The grill did not work, the outdoor fire pit did not work, the sink did not drain properly, the kitchen had no dish towels or paper towels, the guest bedroom fan did not work (I think that captured everything). But the location was convenient and the place was clean. If those above things were fixed, this would have been an amazing experience. Because they were broken, and some of them were reasons why we chose the location, I can’t give more than 3 stars.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

The place was comfortable, spacious, and up-to-date. It had a large table and enough chairs for the 7 of us at which to sit, which was a priority for us. (We are senior citizens- siblings and spouses.) Many other VRBO postings do not appear to have large table sittings. It was disappointing that there were not enough wash cloths, hand towels, or wine glasses for each of the 7 guests to have one. There were no kitchen dish cloths or kitchen towels at all. There was no laundry detergent. Many of the dishes had to be rewashed before using. The gate in the backyard was on the ground, but one of us figured out how to reset it. My biggest complaint is the poor responsiveness by the rental company, and the only way to contact them is messaging through the VRBO app, which was useless. They do not have a phone number. I inquired prior to our stay how to reach anyone if we had issues. This is their response,"Hello, if there is an any issue please let us know right away and we'll be around to help." We couldn't open the gas valve in order to use the grill, which we were depending on to cook a meal. I reached out and the company was slow to respond and was not helpful. Some responses were illogical and appeared to be AI generated. Bottom line, I would stay again with a large group of people because of the spaciousness. But I would know that I need to supplement needed supplies, and that I'm on my own and will not get any help from the rental company.

Traveler Beware

This is a huge home in a nice area, but dealing with the management company became a nightmare. Very responsive prior to booking, but after that - horrible. We never received a phone number that we could contact anyone directly. Upon arriving, we discovered that the pool was really dirty and had lots of debris in it. I messaged the management company, and they said they would have someone out the next day to take care of it. After that, we discovered that the outdoor gas grill didn't work. The outdoor gas fire pit was also not in working order. The carpet and plank flooring throughout the entire home were very dirty. Pans and dishes that we pulled out of the cupboards were dirty. Pans had grease and food in them/dirty dishes. The kitchen itself was very poorly stocked, especially when you consider the size of the house and the number of people that it could sleep. I called and messaged the company several times the next morning - with no response. We also called their phone number and left messages - with no response. After several hours, I contacted VRBO for assistance. We did finally have someone come later in the day to clean the pool. They brought a new gas tank for the grill but the outdoor fire pit not operable. Disappointing. No response from the co the rest of our trip. This could be a great property to visit, but not with this management company. A pricey trip that was disappointing and frustrating.
