When I got to the property it was rush hour and it was off a busy street so I was unsure on how quiet it would be. But the next morning took the dogs for a walk and it’s actually a really cute and quiet neighborhood? Great for a morning walk. There’s restaurants and coffee shops all with a walk or short drive. Great location to get to all things Austin too. Nothing more than a 15 min drive. Property was clean and comfortable and having the fenced in space for the dogs was great.
We really enjoyed our time here! Every inch of this tiny home was meticulously designed to optimize space, making it a comfortable stay for myself, my husband and two teenagers.
I was very happy to stay in East Austin and find a pet-friendly tiny house. I did an extended stay and was able to work from the property--the wifi was strong enough to manage multiple zoom meetings. The courtyard was great for my dog and I to spend time, welcome friends (I previously lived in Austin) or just enjoy the dappled sunlight under the shade of trees. Check in and out were very simple. It was within walking distance to many of my favorite restaurants, bars and coffeeshops in Austin.
This space was everything we needed for our trip. The owners were incredibly accommodating to our needs and gave some great recommendations for local spots. The neighborhood was very quiet and made it easy to walk our dogs.
My girlfriends and I had so much fun staying here. Cute and close to everything while not being bogged down by traffic. Recommend for a girls weekend !
Great little house that was perfect for us. We just needed a place to sleep and shower. Super close to lots of restaurants and bars. Quiet neighborhood and responsive owner.
We absolutely loved staying in this cottage. This was my favorite stay in Austin so far! The location is incredible, you can truly get to any location you want in Austin in minutes or just walk to several great spots as well. The place was super clean and easy to access. Only stayed one night but has everything if needed to stay longer! We were able to park in the driveway and easily fit both cars! And shout out to the wonderful host! Will be rebooking when returning to Austin!
This tiny home was adorable and fit me and my four other friends. I could communicate with the hosts easily and quickly, and they were so sweet and understanding.
The tiny house is a little hidden from the street view, but with the hosts' directions, we quickly found the small home. My only mention is that the TV does not work, but it was not a problem for us since we were exploring Austin. I would recommend this place if anyone is looking for a smaller VRBO!
I stay at a lot of rentals so I may be a little pickier than others. Overall, the place is nice and in a good location. One thing that just stuck out was a stain on the floor mat as you walk in. Again, just something that stood out. The rest of the home was very clean. I did have to reach out to the host for check in instructions the evening prior to my stay. They were quick to respond.
Sure! Here’s a quirky and fun VRBO review using your points:⸻Who knew a tiny home could deliver such huge vibes? This place is a masterclass in space sorcery—every inch perfectly thought out, like a game of Tetris designed by a designer with a PhD in coziness. The location? Chef’s kiss. Nestled in a charming neighborhood with dangerously good food and drinks just a stroll away, and a hop-skip-jump (okay, a short drive) to UT. Immaculately clean, with communication so smooth it felt like mind-reading. Honestly, if this place were a person, we’d be best friends. Zero complaints.

Not Charmed at All
1. The listing says "pet friendly", however, I had to sleep on the couch the entire time because the ladders were too steep for my dog to climb up and the yard is mostly mulch and dirt.2. I didn't feel like there was much privacy as close as the rental was to the houses on either side.3. The email I received the day before my stay said that if the TV said "no signal", to reboot the Chromecast, however, there is no Chromecast. There is a Fire Stick.4. I was asked to move the trash bin to the curb. I don't feel like I should have been asked to do that.5. The batteries on the remote are really low.6. There were roaches.7. My vehicle was scratched, and I was told the yard crew may not respond and I should probably file a claim on my insurance. Doing this could raise my monthly payment, and I'd have to pay the deductible. I parked where I was told. The yard work should have been done before or after my stay. If that was not possible, I should have been asked to move my car. 9. Until the yard crew was there on Thursday, there were tree limbs over the ground in the driveway and in the yard behind the fence. It is very dark there at night and there was no lighting. I tripped several times over the limbs and almost fell. 10. Yard crew showed up at 8:30 am to cut tree limbs which was very noisy. The host did not reply to me when I told them about my experience or communicate about the yard crew. Very disappointed.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay in this adorable tiny house! There were 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids), and while it’s definitely a cozy space, it was well designed and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated having a futon, TV, and well-equipped kitchenette with an air fryer, hot plate, and mini fridge.Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy, and our hosts provided clear instructions throughout the process. The location was also excellent. It was easy to get wherever we wanted to go, and we especially enjoyed exploring the nearby park and restaurants. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient place to visit the area!
Cute, well organized small house with plenty of room to fit up to 5 people comfortably. They provided essential kitchen, and bathroom items. Would definitely stay there again.
Communication with the host was outstanding from start to finish. They were responsive, friendly, proactive, and made sure every question was answered quickly and clearly. Check-in was smooth thanks to the detailed instructions. They checked in at the right times to ensure everything was going well without being intrusive. Highly recommend.
