Ocean Block Cottage- 3 houses from beach- just steps. Newly remodeled and decorated with bright, fun beach decor. Full kitchen with new micro wave, dishwasher and stove. Full size refrigerator with ice maker.
Cozy cottage with knotty pine and white open beam ceilings. Screened in porch adds another room for enjoyment. Relax with your morning coffee or evening cocktail. Great place for playing cards or any game with your family. We also have the cottage next door- the porch can be opened up for access between units. See VRBO listing #320264. 1 Story, central heat and air conditioning in bedrooms and living area. Cable TV with DVD and internet service. One assigned parking place.(Parking passes for street parking can be purchased.) Outside community shower available. Gas grill provided. Sheet, towels and paper products are NOT provided.
Minutes (walking) to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, town park, bay, shopping and entertainment. And it is a short ride, either by car or on the jolly Trolley, to Rehobeth and all it's attractions- Funland for the children, the boardwalk, shopping and much more...and don't forget the many, many shops at the outlets lining Route 1.We only rent by the week in July from Saturday to Saturday.

Love the location of property ! We had a few issues with heating and contacted the owner with quick response we were able to workout. Maybe needs written instructions somewhere. Also found the coffeemaker and the oven were disgusting and dirty. Tried to cook with oven and it was so dirty it was smoking when turned on. Coffeemaker was also so dirty after cleaning it I still did not want to use. Owner needs to pay some attention to making sure appliances are clean and useable .

basic accommodation in a great location

Nice place, great location, decently furnished and equipped, steps to the beach. Easy walk to nightlife. Nice for a couple or small family with a dog.

Would NOT recommend!

I have never given a negative review but the only good thing about this property was the location. The moment we walked into the cottage it felt and looked filthy. I do not believe this property was cleaned at all. There was dust, the smell of mold everywhere and the bathroom smelled of stale urine. While getting settled and making the beds, I kept bumping my foot on something under the queen bed. I found that Instead of replacing the metal bed frame they propped it up with cement pavers and instead of replacing the mattresses for the twin beds they put layers of foam in-between the mattress and box spring. There were tiny ants all over, which looking back at reviews has been an issue. They even had some stuck to the blinds in one of the bedrooms. Most of the windows are broken and screens are missing. We had a lot of trouble trying to close and lock them before bed the first night. The shower floor is very spongy and you felt like you would fall through at any moment. I cannot believe we paid so much to stay in such a filthy place and had to sleep on foam and a bed being held up by cement pavers. This was the worst VRBO stay we have had and would not recommend this place to anyone.
