About the host
Hosted by Bob
My name is Ashley, and I live in Wimberley with my husband and two young sons. We love it here, and for years would come to this stretch of river with friends – we always thought it was the most beautiful river spot in the area. So we decided to purchase the home and share it with you!
Why they chose this property
Located in the heart of Wimberley, this neighborhood offers convenient access to the town’s vibrant food and shopping scene. River Road, the main thoroughfare leading into Wimberley from the home, follows the picturesque Blanco River. This narrow, paved road allows for two-way traffic but lacks street lights, adding to the area’s quaint, serene atmosphere.
The neighborhood is accessed via a single road, Rover Road, which serves as the sole connection to the outside world. As a result, traffic and noise levels are typically minimal, contributing to a peaceful living environment.
