Time to decompress!
Beautiful mountain top cabin, spectacular view and so comfy! We visited just for a few days away from the hustle and bustle and it was just what the doctor ordered. Cabin is well stocked with everything you might need and owners are very receptive if you should need anything. We had a wonderful stay and plan on returning.
Wonderful views
We loved everything about this house. Beautiful sunrise off the deck. Great location and very quiet. If you need time to relax and unwind this is the place. Plenty of space to spread out to do your own thing. Owner was very responsive when we had questions.
Beautiful cabin but needs maintenance to appliances
Overall the cabin and the views were beautiful. Christmas Eve went to bake cookies and pies for Christmas and the oven didn’t work so ruined our Christmas eating plans. In the past when we have stayed at VRBO or similar rentals there was laundry soap provided and with this property none was provided and your not close enough to run to the store on Christmas Eve to get some. Left rental a day early.

We apologize that you had troubles with the oven, however, we can confidently confirm it is functioning properly. The guests that checked in just after you were able to use the oven several times, and the homeowner personally went to the cabin to check it out as well, and he had no difficulties. Had you reached out to the homeowner regarding your troubles, he would have been more than happy to explain the controls to you. These homeowners provide guests with basic necessities for their stay, however, they do not provide laundry detergent, which cannot be expected in the vacation rental industry. As evident by past reviews, these homeowners are known for their 5-star service and strive to provide all guests with the perfect stay. Amazing view and nice cabin, but cold showers not handled by rental company
Cabin has beautiful views of the mountains and is in a great location! Layout is nice and overall the cabin is in good condition. Great basement for hanging out with a pool table and nice sized flat screen. Beds are not incredibly comfortable, but okay. Biggest issue we had was a known maintenance issue with the showers running cold after a couple of minutes. We didn’t get much showering in during our stay. Lots of sponge baths for the kids and hair washing in the sink. The rental company was notified and did nothing to help rectify the issue. I would have expected some monetary compensation. Otherwise we would recommend the cabin. It’s a cute getaway in the mountains!!!
Heaven in the Mountains!
We have just returned from our trip and WOW! While the pictures on the website look incredible, the reality is this cabin is glorious! We were in awe from the moment we pulled up into the driveway.
It is quite a trip up to the home... but that’s what puts you up in the clouds and that’s where the best views are!
The view is truly unsurpassed. Every detail has been thought of. The king bed was firm and didn’t think I would be able to sleep in it but it was very comfortable. There are two sinks which is perfect for two people who both want their own area. There is a washer/dryer, full sized refrigerator, a dishwasher, gas cook-top, oven, microwave and coffee maker. We spent a lot of time sitting on the fabulous porch looking at the mountains and stargazing all evening long.
One of my favorite things to do was to wake-up and grab a cup of coffee and immediately go outside to sit on the porch and listen to the birds. If you are interested in birds, there are many and bird feeders! We never even left because we didn't want to be anywhere except on the porch enjoying the majestic mountains. We built a fire the entire time we were there and it was so incredible. The hot tub was sparkling and worked very well.
I know that I have gone on and on, but trust me, if you are in this area, you would enjoy staying here! We can't WAIT to go back!!
