About this property
Mtn Views | Sleeps 8, Hot Tub | Pool & Tennis
Emerald Oasis sits high up in Shagbark, a gated community outside Sevierville, and it sleeps eight in two bedrooms. Up high and away from the hustle and bustle of main town strip.
Both bedrooms are king suites with their own bathrooms — one has a jetted tub, the other a shower and tub combination — so two couples can travel together without negotiating over a bathroom. Downstairs there's a full sofa bed and a set of twin bunks, and a Pack & Play if you need one.
The living room has the big windows and a stone wood-burning fireplace, which runs October through March. It's a real fire rather than gas, so pick up firewood in town on the way in.
The hot tub is private. There's a pool table and a dart board in the game area, a gas grill outside, and smart TVs in every sleeping space.
The community - Seasonal outdoor pool, Memorial Day through Labor Day - Tennis court - Park - Gated entry, so we'll need to know how many cars you're bringing to sort your parking passes
Distances - The Island, Pigeon Forge: 9 miles - Dollywood: 14 miles - Downtown Gatlinburg: 17 miles - Great Smoky Mountains National Park: about 40 minutes
Every booking includes $940 in free attraction tickets, one admission per activity for each day you're here, at places like Dollywood and the Ober Gatlinburg tramway.
Worth knowing before you book This is not a cabin you walk to the Parkway from. You're nine miles from The Island and seventeen from Gatlinburg, so plan on driving to everything. What you get for it is a quiet gated neighborhood, mountain views and no traffic noise, and most of our guests say the trade was worth it — but if you want to be in the middle of the action, one of our Pigeon Forge cabins will suit you better.
The driveway holds two cars, with first-come street parking beyond that. The roads up here are mountain roads, and we'd recommend AWD or 4WD in the winter months.
Eight guests across two bedrooms works because of the bunks and the sofa bed, so it suits two families or a group happy to share the lower level.
All guests review and sign a rental agreement before check-in, and we recommend travel insurance. Hot tubs are drained, sanitized and refilled between stays, so yours may still be warming on the first night.
Your stay includes $940.00 in complimentary activities. Just by booking with us, you’ll receive free tickets, every day of your stay to top activities like Dollywood, Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway, and more. (One free admission per activity, per day)
**Magnolia Vacation Rentals is not liable for any disruptions, damages, or cancellations caused by acts of God or weather-related events. In accordance with health and safety regulations, all hot tubs are drained, sanitized, and refilled between guest stays. As a result, the hot tub may require additional time to reach optimal temperature and may not be fully heated the first night of your stay. All guests are required to review and sign a renter’s agreement prior to check-in. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your reservation against unexpected changes or emergencies.**

Our original rental had an issue, but the host quickly moved us into a different property at no extra charge. This isn’t where we actually stayed. But it won’t let us review where we actually stayed. The host were great! The home was clean, spacious, and perfect for our stay. We truly appreciated the communication and how professionally everything was handled. Highly recommend!
Needs some outside maintenance, poison ivy was growing along the cabin front porch. Im allergic had to watch myself. Hot tub area needed a good spray down for dust, debris and poison ivy. The hot tub worked great though and was ready when we got there. The inside we loved very clean and organized. Plenty of towels, washing machine worked great, all TV’s worked, connect 4 board was broke at bottom, dart board has about had it and pool table was great needs more pool que sticks. Most importantly AC worked perfectly and kept very cold. Beds were comfortable, everything in the bathrooms worked and hot water got hot. Might invest in a single coffee maker, sometimes a hassle to make a pot of coffee when just 1 person wants coffee. Really great property and management easy to communicate with via text. Thanks again! Ginger Pitman

Host was very responsive and very helpful!! The drive to and from the cabin is very steep in parts and windy so the first trip up in the dark was challenging. The cabin is welcoming and well furnished but the beds were extremely uncomfortable and worn and linens such as sheets and towels were low quality and very thin. Amenities were not very well thought out and pots and pans were limited and not of good safe quality as the coatings were chipped. One of the burners on the stove would not heat and there were big cobwebs in the 1st floor bedroom. Bathrooms and bedrooms were overall clean and living room was cozy and warm feeling. Really enjoyed our time out on the top deck but our overall experience we felt was lacking in quality and disapointing.
