Sorry, it's NOT charming
I arrived after dark. The very bright light near the door shone over the low gate, blinding me. I tripped and fell onto the cement curb built along the side of the driveway. I banged my forehead and the next morning had a whooping purple "shiner" like I'd been punched. Inside, the room was tatty, furnished as cheaply as possible. The charcoal bath towels were bleach-stained and the bright blue dish towel that I guess was supposed to serve as a hand towel was thin and.wrinkled to the max. The metal soap & shampoo hanger in the shower was rusty and the inner plastic shower curtain showing its age. The nightstand was broken. The chair for the desk the cheapest plastic with a frozen wheel. The small refrigerator in the closet was not cold. The bed had only a fitted sheet with overstretched elastic and an old, ugly wrinkled duvet cover. I did like that the pillows smelled fresh and were comfortable. I only stayed one night and every time I turned over the corner of the fitted sheet came off the mattress. It would NOT stay on the mattress. There was a big crack in the wall by the door and a large-ish hole in the corner of the closet.The locks on the doors worked but there was no light switch I could find to illuminate the small hallway between the.outside door and the door to the room. The TV worked fine but I was not charmed in the least.
