Wonderful house, just as described. We were in North Charleston for Riverfront Revival Music Festival and the location was great. High-end finishes and comfortable. Easy to check in and check out. Highly recommend.
Our family has 3 Sr.'s this year. They didnt want to go on their sr trip so we chose to visit Charleston. This house was the perfect size for the 8 of us. The location was convenient to everything. BEWARE, that couch will put you straight to sleep.Be mindful of the size of your vehicles and the parking is tight and limited.
Our family had never been to Charleston before and so when we were planning our trip, which was to include a visit to Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head and Savannah, we decided it was better to stay in North Charleston. The Mixson community was absolutely the cutest! From the colorful Paradiso to the lovely homes, you felt nestled in the outside. The home was just perfect for our needs. It afforded everyone privacy with the bedroom/bath arrangements yet community and family time with the spacious family/dining/kitchen space. Everything was clean and practical. It was a great space for our trip!I have a couple of suggestions:1) I’d let travelers know more about the area. It was fairly industrial. Having not been to this area before it was a bit shocking. 2) I’d suggest repainting the home. Many areas looked like things were torn from the walls and just left that way. Everything was clean, but this cheapened the feel of the property. 3) I would also suggest adding a couple of chairs to the family room.
The home was clean & located in a cute area, except I did hear train noise in the middle of the night. The home is 3 levels with the main living (kitchen & living room) area is on the 2nd level, with bedrooms & bathrooms on 1st & 3rd levels. So be mindful of the steps. The negative we encountered was the property mgmt was not responsive to our requests for repairs. There was water leaking from the water dispenser on the fridge. Realized it was from the icemaker as the fridge was not working. Mgmt told us to check the breaker & we reset it. However it continued to trip & fridge would turn off. We had groceries in fridge. Also the light in downstairs bathroom was out. We were there for 5 nights & they never came to fix these issues. Every time I called he said he would make a note to the ground crew. Very disappointing.
We had family fly in from Utah, it was a beautiful home with plenty of space for us all. The pictures are nice but honestly feel like the house looks even more beautiful in person. Will definitely book again.
