Cameron was a great host......very attentive to our messages with quick responses.During our stay, there was a power outage and Cameron within the hour of notification, stopped by with a care package of lanterns, candles and a lighter.Neighborhood was quiet and safe.We would stay here again!
This home was a great place for our family to stay while in Charleston. It was spacious, well appointed, and a perfect location. Our host was incredibly responsive and accommodating! We will definitely stay here again.
This house was perfect for our family vacation. We loved that each one of our kids had their own bedroom and the shared living space was big enough for everybody to find a place to unwind. The only thing that I would like to have had be different about this house was being closer to beaches. Each beach that we went to during our vacation was 25 to 30 minutes away, so if you’re looking for something closer to the beach, this is probably not the option for you. Cameron was wonderful in communication for every question we had. He and his wife are locals so they were able to recommend a ton of restaurants and shopping options for our family. They are amazing hosts.
This place exceeded our expectations. Great location with easy access to Park Circle restaurants, short drive to downtown Charleston. Home had beautiful decor and the host were fabulous. Can't wait for our next visit.
Loved our Thanksgiving visit with extended family to a daughter that lives close by. House was cozy and accommodated the handful of adults and two small grandchildren. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and thoughtful touches to the guest rooms and bathrooms. Would definitely stay again!
We had the best time The property is perfect, clean and the location was great. The host was great and easy to reach with quick reply. Highly recommend.
We came for a quick weekend and the property is exactly as pictured and described. Convenient location with easy access to the airport and downtown. The area itself is super cute too with restaurants, a park and walking paths. Easy booking and responsive host.
We stayed for three nights. This house is very clean, well-furnished, and well-stocked. Quiet and convenient neighborhood and the owners provided us everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this home!
This home, not a house, was beautifully decorated! It had everything you would need for a visit to the Charleston area. It was quiet and perfect for our time away. We loved the location as well. Park Circle has lots of restaurants to choose from. We would definitely choose this home again.
Nice house and only 15-20 minutes to downtown. Good dining options in nearby Park Circle area. Home was very comfortable and had plenty of space for our family of five. Appreciated responsiveness of owner.
We love this property so much that we’ve booked several times! ! It’s super clean, superb comfortable bedding , beautifully decorated & convenient to the beach & downtown Charleston! The neighborhood reminds us of Rainbow Row and has great green space for kids & pets! Easy check in/ out! Great host ! Thanks Cameron & Anna for another wonderful stay in your beautiful home!
If I could give 10 stars , I would.
Very kind and supportive hosts. Beautiful , clean & comfortable home . Great neighborhood. My family and I are grateful that we were allowed to stay there. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED WHEN VISITING THE AREA.
My mom and I came to South Carolina to visit with my grandma. We decided to stay in a house instead of a hotel and I am so glad that we did. The home was exactly as described. It was very clean and well taken care of. It was in a real good neighborhood and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. If I am ever back in this area, I will definitely stay here again.
We loved staying at this property. We were a family of 5 and everyone could spread out and have their own space. We were able to do laundry and cook a fabulous meal. The house was well equipped. We were able to do an early check in and it was so helpful to drop our bags and go to the beach sooner than expected. We were only a 35 minute drive from Folly Beach which I highly recommend. The host was great at communicating and helpful.
Just like home- every conceivable convenience available! Extremely well supplied with all the amenities. The fully equipped kitchen made cooking meals a pleasure. We had a wonderful stay and did not want to leave. The Owner was always available via phone or text to answer all of my questions and to provide useful information. This home exceeded my expectations in all of the ways I hoped it would and I unequivocally recommend this property.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location
The home itself is great. It’s a decent size. It seems to have everything you need. Our issue was a couple of different things. 1) The pool is 50 per person… per day. Yes you have access to it but at 150 per DAY for my 3 person family …for a small lap pool. I thought that was a bit extreme. 2) The neighborhood itself… as in the few streets the houses sit in- IS nice, but the immediate surrounding areas are not safe for a family. I’m sorry they just aren’t. This is coming from someone who felt absolutely fine in downtown Memphis and Miami… but not here. The Save A Lot right around the corner had cops and people getting arrested on two SEPARATE days in the 5 day span we were there. There is very clearly people on drugs hanging out/homeless JUST outside the Neighborhood. Next to and across from the Save-a lot. 3) Dog friendly but there is no yard for your dog to go to the bathroom you have to walk them down the street to the green space. It’s basically like being in an apartment. 4)You have train tracks that are about 100 yards from the house and surround neighborhood. You’ll hear that the whole time you are there…as early an 6am, and it’s very l close to the military base, you’ll see/hear military aircraft all day/night . In the end we had to leave early because we just didn’t like the area. It seems advertised to be misleading— all 5* and nobody mentions any of this? Especially when similar prices are available on much better areas.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the home but very sorry the location ultimately wasn’t the right fit for your family. We do, however, want to provide some clarification for future guests, particularly regarding the suggestion that our listing is misleading.
The biggest concern for us is that none of these issues were brought to our attention during your five-night stay. Had we known you were uncomfortable with the pool, surrounding area, noise, or anything else, we would have been happy to discuss your concerns and do our best to find a reasonable solution.
Regarding the pool, Paradiso is a semi-private neighborhood pool club and is not included with the rental. This is disclosed in multiple listing photo captions, and we also send every guest a message immediately after booking explaining that separate day passes are required. We understand that the cost may not be worthwhile for every family, but guests are made aware of it before arrival.
We also do not advertise the home as having a private or fenced yard. The listing photos show the exterior areas, and the neighborhood has shared green spaces used by residents and guests, including for walking dogs.
The home is in Park Circle, an established area of North Charleston that has experienced significant growth and development. It is an urban/working-class area, and like many areas, there can be activity and noise associated with the surrounding community. The nearby train tracks and Charleston airport are also characteristics of the location, not something we have intentionally concealed.
We have now hosted many guests across VRBO and Airbnb, with 28 VRBO reviews and 133 Airbnb reviews. We routinely receive positive feedback about the home, location, communication, and our recommendations for the area. In fact, the family who checked in immediately after this stay specifically praised our communication and local recommendations after their six-night visit.
We completely respect that every traveler has different expectations and that this location may simply not have been the right fit for your family. However, we work hard to accurately represent our home and provide guests with the information they need to make an informed decision before booking, and we don't believe it is fair to characterize the listing as misleading.
