This Lake George house was perfect for our group of 6 adults. Very clean and fresh looking, comfy beds, and plenty of blankets and towels. We didn’t do any cooking, but there appeared to be adequate tools and utensils. The location is great… a short walk to the town’s main drag with plenty of restaurants and shops. We’d definitely stay again on a future visit.

The unit was very clean and convenient location. Beds were comfortable. Grocery store across the street and close to shopping and the park. Host was very responsive. There were upstair guests for our last 2 days and could hear them walking and talking, etc.

Your comfort is very important to us, and we always do our best to respond quickly and thoughtfully to any concerns. Thank you again for staying with us. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Lake George in the future! Best regards, Frieda

Very clean, cute property close to everything you want in Lake George Village, but removed enough from the main road. Our host was very responsive to all communication before and during our stay, and quick to solve an issue that arose during our stay. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again.

Hi Nicole, Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m truly happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay, and I hope we have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future. I did want to ask one small question. Since it sounds like everything met your expectations, I was wondering if you could share what led to the 4-star rating. That one star unfortunately has a significant impact on our overall ratings as hosts, especially since this is a new property. If your experience truly deserved 5 stars and there is any way to update or reevaluate your rating through the platform, I would be incredibly grateful. If there was anything we could have done better, I would also sincerely appreciate your feedback so we can continue improving. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us. Warm regards,
Frieda

Location, location, location! None better if staying in Lake George! We walked everywhere: beaches, restaurants. shops, (grocery store and liquor store were next door) even roof top patio next door at Marriott Courtyard. Everything was just as described with TV in each room, kitchen well stocked and with 6 of us, the half bath was great when things were busy.Host was super responsive and committed to our enjoyment while there.Definitely will be back when we return. Thanks Frieda!

Great location and nice place. Perfect for those to be in walking distance to downtown restaurants, shops, and active nightlife. A big plus to have a grocery store and bakery across the street. Owner was very responsive. Some may be good with this but I didn’t see this posted as an fyi…if renting downstairs, you hear everything going on in the upstairs rental/porch.

Thank you Susan, We’re so happy you enjoyed our convenient location and appreciated being within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, shops, nightlife, as well as having the grocery store and bakery right across the street. I’m also glad I was able to assist you promptly during your stay. Thank you as well for your feedback regarding the upstairs unit. Our home is a two-family property, and while we strive to provide a comfortable experience for all guests, some sound transfer between floors can occasionally occur, as is common in many multi-family homes. We truly appreciate your comments and will consider adding additional information to our listing so future guests know what to expect. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope to welcome you back to Lake George in the future! Frieda

We had a great stay here the host was very quick to respond and the owner of the property was very nice as well and helpful. It was a very nice house and we plan on booking here again in the future. The only recommendation I would have would be to maybe place a railing next to the outside steps otherwise this house I would recommend to anyone staying in Lake George,New York

Rebecca, thank you so much for your kind words! Yes, absolutely—that’s our plan. We’ll be adding railings to the few steps leading to the house for extra safety, just as soon as the weather warms up a bit. Thank you again for staying with us—we truly appreciate it!

We absolutely loved the location of this property — it really is a 10/10! Having a grocery store directly across the street was so convenient, especially when we needed to grab something quickly. We were also able to sit on the porch and watch the fireworks, which was such a fun bonus! The house is just about a block from the heart of the village, so we could easily walk to restaurants, shops, and everything else without having to worry about driving, traffic, or paying for parking. That convenience alone made such a difference during our stay. The house was spotless when we arrived and had everything we could possibly need. We really appreciated all the thoughtful little touches — toiletries, K-cups, garbage bags, plenty of toilet paper, and so much more. It made us feel comfortable and taken care of.We did notice a wasp nest on the porch during our stay, but when we mentioned it, it was taken care of immediately. We really appreciated how responsive the hosts were. The price for the week was definitely a little on the expensive side, but with this location, you really are paying for convenience. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and made some great memories. We would happily stay here again!

Best spot in Lake George

We spent the 4th of July weekend at this rental and couldn’t have asked for a better spot! The location was incredibly convenient—just off Canada Street and within walking distance to a bakery, grocery store, and plenty of great restaurants. The home was very clean, the beds were super comfortable, and the front porch was the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or relax in the evening. We even got to watch the fireworks right from the porch, which made the holiday extra special. Rich and Frieda were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout our stay, and there was plenty of parking, which made things even easier. Everyone had a great time, and we’re already making plans to return next year!
