Welcome to The Lighthouse 1412 and our favorite place to enjoy blue skies, emerald-green waters, and the most beautiful white sugar-sand beaches! Being Gulf Shores' newer and most popular condo development, The Lighthouse has much to offer! You are sure to enjoy the convenient central location, within walking distance to great restaurants and shopping!
As you enter our condo, you will notice the clean, comfortable, tranquil décor with light touches of a coastal theme. Nine-foot ceilings, granite countertops and luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout give our condo an inviting, updated with a warm, spacious feel. The large floor to ceiling windows with sliding glass door in the living area allows you to relax on the sofa and enjoy the beautiful views of the beach and the Gulf of AMERICA. The condo is well appointed with all the necessities including roku, cable, and high speed internet.
Our condo has two bedrooms with a bunk room and will sleep 8 people comfortably. The primary bedroom offers floor to ceiling windows with a sliding glass door that allows access to the balcony. The primary also includes updated white, wood furniture and a comfortable king size mattress, fresh linens, 42 inch flat screen TV, walk-in closet, as well as a private ensuite bath with granite countertop, walk-in shower, and a chair height toilet. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen size mattress, fresh linens, and a flat screen TV. The guest bathroom includes a granite countertop, new tub, tiled shower, and chair height toilet. Across the hall from the second bedroom, the bunk room with 2 twin mattresses and a flat screen TV that's sure to delight the kids! Closing the door will provide them and yourselves privacy on those relaxing oceanfront evenings. For families with small children, a pack and play is also provided.
The family room is furnished with a 55 inch flat screen smart TV, a queen sleeper sofa, love seat, and leather recliner that will provide comfortable seating and sleeping accommodations for large families or extra guests.
A fully equipped kitchen, complete with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and other essential appliances will give you the option to cook your own meals, if you choose. The dining area includes a large dining table that seats 6, along with 3 metal bar stools to accommodate more guests. A laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer will help take care of those wet bathing suits and beach towels. Also included is an iron, iron board, vacuum, mop with bucket, and broom with dust pan. Cleaning supplies are located under the kitchen sink.
Our favorite place to spend time is on the large private covered balcony that overlooks the breath-taking beautiful beach on the Gulf of AMERICA. The balcony stretches the full width of the condo and extends in front of the master bedroom as well as the family room. With seating for 6 that includes 4 sling dining chairs and 2 lounge chairs with table, is a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee, catch the gorgeous sunsets, or watch dolphins swim in the surf. The views are spectacular!
The Lighthouse complex offers 2 outdoor pools, one being a zero entry pool for easy access, an indoor heated pool, 2 hot tubs, a fitness center with sauna, and a BBQ area with grills. Whether your perfect vacation includes lying on the white sands of the Gulf of AMERICA or playing your best round of golf on a nearby championship course, the Lighthouse Condominium offers a combination of location, comfort and recreation.
Enjoy quick access to your condominium with 5 elevators and 3 levels of parking. Our condo also offers quick, convenient, and safe access with a code entry door lock. Carts are located on the first 2 levels of the parking garage to help carry your personal property to the condo. The unit is located on the 14th floor.
An ice machine that is payable by credit card is located in the parking garage on the first floor next to the pool bathrooms.
Additional items to consider bringing for your vacation: Laundry detergent, dish soap, dish washer detergent, toilet tissue, paper towels, kleenex, hair dryer, bath soap, lotion, kitchen trash bags, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, zip-locks, condiments, coffee grounds, coffee filters, Keurig single serve K cups, plastic cups for the beach, cooler for the beach, beach chairs (we TRY 2 provide 2 inside unit), beach towels, and sunscreen. Beach chair rental is also available on the beach directly located off of the center beach access ramp. Their office number is 251-981-4807 to make your reservation.
The Lighthouse is only a couple of miles from Walmart, Target, and 2 grocery stores. The Wharf retail shopping area located in Orange Beach is not far away either. Both the Wharf and the Target area have movie theaters, restaurants and a variety of shops. Sea 'n Suds traditional seafood restaurant, The Hangout, and Gulf State Park Public Pier are all within easy walking distance of The Lighthouse and you do not have to cross any roads! Just take a leisurely walk along the beach and you are at any of these locations in minutes.
We know you will enjoy your stay in our condo at the Lighthouse and it too will become your favorite place to make lots of great family memories! Our hope is that your stay will be effortless, relaxing and you will be reluctant to leave the comfort and cleanliness of your surroundings.
DUE TO CONDO REGULATIONS, WE CANNOT RENT TO GUESTS UNDER AGE 25.
Although we are pet lovers, Lighthouse has a strict 'No Guest Pets' policy, which they vigorously enforce. If you are found to have a pet on premises, you will be subject to immediate eviction.
Guests with Service Animals or Emotional Support Animals are required to show documentation from a licensed medical professional or other professional in the field that he or she suffers from a disability or handicap. The documentation must state the disability involves a substantial impairment in one or more of life’s major functions and should explain how the animal is needed to overcome or deal with the substantial impairment of life function.
This documentation must be emailed to the association at LighthouseCOA@gmail.com prior to the guests' stay for approval.
If an applicant is unwilling or unable to prove his or her need for the Service Animal, the association will prohibit the animal unless and until the proper documentation is received.
The guest registration certificate/parking pass PER-CAR fee is $50 paid directly to The Lighthouse. It is valid the length of your stay. You are allowed 2 cars per unit. Guest registration certificates/parking passes are available for purchase as you enter the parking lot or at the 2nd floor management office from 9am-10:30pm. The registration certificate/parking pass is subject to change without notification. The fee is set by the HOA, not the individual owners.
In effort to keep the Lighthouse common areas to owners and registered guests only, The Lighthouse will now require guests 12 years and older to wear wristbands inside the gated common areas. Wristbands will be given at the time of payment of registration certificate/parking pass .
IT IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED FOR ALL TENANTS TO PURCHASE TRIP INSURANCE TO PROTECT FROM ANY LOSSES INCURRED TO LAST MINUTE, UNAVOIDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES THAT RESULT IN AN UNFORESEEN CANCELLATION OF YOUR RESERVATION SUCH AS WEATHER OR COVID-19. ANY REFUND OR CREDIT WILL BE MADE AT THE OWNER’S DISCRESION.
