Corner Unit with hot tub, views! Stargazing included.

Bedrooms 3
Space 1,551 sq. ft.
Property type townhome
Minimum Stay 2 - 4 nights

About the property

3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, sleeps 8 with Rim and mountain views. Corner unit.

After you've explored the Canyonlands, you will need a place to rest. Feel free to relax in our unique Rim Village corner townhouse, situated across from County Land, featuring private hot tub, unobstructed views of the Moab rim from the porch and lofty living room.

Booked for the dates you want? Ask about our other 3BR Moab house near the golf course (VRBO #900906 - Red Rock Garden).

We are conveniently situated 5 minutes south of Moab’s Main Street, 10 minutes South of Arches National Park and 45 minutes from Canyonlands National park and Dead Horse State Park. You can walk to the community pool and hot tub, but feel like you're in a universe all to yourself.

With all 3 tastefully decorated bedrooms conveniently situated on the ground floor, and the great room featuring an open floor plan opening into kitchen and dining area, fireplace, high ceilings and picture windows with lovely views of the Moab rim, we hope you'll feel energized and comfortable in your home away from home.

Bedrooms (Sleeps up to 8)

#1 - King bed, private bath, flat screen TV, walk-in closet

#2 - King bed, flat screen TV, closet

#3 - 2 bunk beds (4 twin beds) (Planning to install XL twin over XL fulls some time in 2017)

Features of our home include:

• Private hot tub

• Three bedrooms

• 2 bathrooms

• Gas Fireplace

• Gas and charcoal grills

• Wi-fi

• Shared pool (open April 1-October 31)

• Private, oversized 2-car garage

• Cable Television

• Washer & Dryer

• Dishwasher

• Full kitchen with microwave and gas range

• Pack-n-play available

The property adjoining Y-4 to the West, (between the house and the Rim) is free of other condos, containing just a soccer/baseball field, so views of the rim from the living room and patio are relatively unobstructed. Also, Rim Village street lights (which are all hooded) haven't quite made it to this block. Add that to naturally dry local weather and our corner situation, and you have some really great stargazing opportunities from the patio & hot tub.

About the hot tub - it's not just any spa. The brand new Hot Springs Brand was chosen for its energy efficiency, but kept for the bells and whistles - jets which feel like rollers massage your back bilaterally, rotate along those sore spots on your neck, or jet away the trigger points on your mid-back. There are even several settings for lighting. It's going all year round. Come and enjoy.

Non-smoking unit. We regret that no pets are allowed - this keeps the unit more comfortable for our guests with allergies.

Please note rates may be higher for holidays such as Thanksgiving and local events such as 1/2 marathons and Jeep Safari.

For those with mobility impairments: While this unit is not ADA compliant, there are some features which may make it easier to navigate than some places. The entire unit is on the ground floor. There are no grab bars in the bathroom or showers. (I am looking into this - if you know anyone qualified please contact me.)

Here are some details and measurements you may find useful:

Driveway to patio: Paved, no change in elevation or unusual bumps.

Front door: 35" wide, bottom lip rises to 1.25" in two steps.

Floor in great room dining and kitchen area is Pergo with one area & one entry rug.

Guest bath door: 33.5 wide, swings inward. Wall to sink 39", end of toilet to wall: 29.5" (towel rack sticks out 3") , end of vanity to tub: 45".

Master bedroom: Transition lip to carper app. .5"

Doorway to bath area: 34.4"

Bottom lip of shower 5.5"

Doorway to toilet area: 33.75", door opens outward.

Toilet area: 37.5" wide, 73" deep, end of toilet to wall 44.5" (towel rack sticks out 3"),

Door from garage: 35", bottom lip: 1.25" tall, a bit more abrupt than the front door lip.

Hope that helps.

About Niki Naeve

Niki is a musician and massage therapist living in Brooklyn and Fleischmanns, NY.

Niki Naeve purchased this townhome in 2012

Why Niki Naeve chose Utah

About my third day in the Canyonlands I stopped comparing it to Earth, and I think you will, too. I'm happy to share this awe inspiring place.

What makes this townhome unique

I can't wait to sit on the porch, next to an open field and grill something tasty after a sun-soaked day of rafting, hiking and climbing. Maybe before dinner I'll take a dip in the pool, or the hot tub on those desert chill nights.

Conveniently located. Feels like home

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay at this property and will book it again next time we go to Moab. The owner was very responsive. The place is well equipped and clean.

The private hot tub is nice to have since the community pool was a bit cold for the time of year we were there and community hot tub was stuffed with kids.

We only stayed 2 nights but the set up was comfortable enough we could easily stay for a week.

Nice stay!

  • 4 of 5

The layout was just perfect for our family of 4 and 2 additional adults. The outdoor area was great as well. Our only real complaint is that we were required to empty all the trash (and put it in the dumpsters that we had to drive to) and strip all the beds; I am already paying a cleaning fee, so I don't feel we should have to do all this.

Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed your stay! Thanks for the feedback. I wanted to explain the reason for the systems around the linens and garbage. We ask guests to strip their sheets so that it's clear which beds have been used. This saves resources in terms of the environment, the laundry facilities, and of course wear and tear on sheets. Before we put that request in place, we found that many guests actually re-made the beds and the housekeeper couldn't tell which ones had been slept in. ;-) At this time unfortunately there is no curb trash pick-up in Rim Village. If guests left everything, I'd have to ask my housekeeper to haul, say, 8 people's accumulation of trash (+ recycling) for 7 days to the dumpster area in her personal car, and the charge for cleaning would go up significantly. For now the cleaning fee is kept on the low side by concentrating all the cleaning effort on making the unit thoroughly spotless. But if I hear this many times I may consider hiring a separate service for removing trash. Thanks much for the feedback, Moab is magical and we're always improving.

Great place to stay! Clean and comfortable. Great accommodationsite. Quiet location.

  • 5 of 5

This was a great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. If you don't mind the small drive into town it is definitely worth staying here for a more quiet experience. Niki was quick to respond with any questions or concerns. If I were being forced to give any constructive criticism, it would be to have a larger TV with high definition. A first world problems for sure! Overall.....a great place to stay.

Terrific townhouse perfectly located for trips into Arches and Canyonlands.

  • 5 of 5

This home is wonderfully appointed, comfortable for couples or families. We stayed for three nights while visiting Arches and Canyonlands Parks and it was a great place to come back to at the end of the day. Everything you need is there. Owner was terrific when our travel plans were altered. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone planning a trip in the Moab area. A 5-star review for a 5-star property.

Extremely high standard property

  • 5 of 5

Superb, high-speck property in a great location. Immaculate home with every need thought of. Plenty of space. Hot tub is perfect for star gazing. Community pool is clean and cared for - only a couple of minutes walk. We were the only family using it! Great communication with the owner. Would highly recommend the property. It exceeded all our expectations.
