We had a great stay at this. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and it worked well for our family. The location was convenient for exploring the Kona side and made it easy to get to beaches, dining, and the town. The check-in process was smooth. Overall, it was a solid home base for our Big Island trip and we would stay here again.

The property management staff was overall lovely to work with, attentive to our needs, and responsive to our calls.The property itself was in need of so much love. Upon arrival it felt grimy and disorganized. The cupboards were in disarray and random. The walls desperately needed paint. You will need to provide your own hangars and towels for the beach and pool. Many items were broken or well used. The property management did provide a fridge for us as the other one did not seal properly. We just had to host a second fridge in this living room, it worked out, we were thankful for the prompt service they provided. They fixed the screen door right away and no further problems. Once we deep cleaned and sprayed for bugs dilginelty, we settled in. The property did not feel like it was worth the cost nor did it feel like a comfortable place to stay. It definitely has potential, a good deep clean, paint, and overall organization would make this the place it is written up to be.

Week stay July/August

The grounds are beautiful with nice tennis courts and a large pool that we enjoyed. We also used the grill for dinner one night. The condo is laid out well, so convenient to be able to do laundry, and a small but efficient kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and sheets soft. There were plenty of beach accessories at the condo- towels, chairs, snorkels, coolers, etc. The only draw back was the heat. Granted we were here end of July/ early August, but it was very hot. There is a space air conditioner in the main bedroom that cools 1 room. We ended up moving another mattress on the floor in there so that 4 out of 5 of us slept in that room. The second bedroom was never cool enough to fall asleep in at night. There is absolutely no breeze that comes through the windows, so we could not comfortably be in the condo in the afternoon unless it was the bedroom with the AC.

Location was great, just a couple minutes to the beach behind the condo complex. Lots of thoughtful items in the unit to make things comfortable... AC unit in the master, games, beach umbrella and other gear, well-stocked kitchen supplies. Host was responsive even during off-hours to questions and trying to resolve issues. Had an issue with the living room ceiling fan light not turning off but otherwise things functioned just fine. Very comfortable as a home base for exploring!
