Nice little cabin, good for activities around the area
Everything stated in others’ reviews for this property is pretty accurate. This cabin is best described as a good place to “crash” for the night after doing activities all within a 20-30 min drive. Kind of like “glamping”. (Glamorous camping.. haha)
The location was easy to find with lots of outdoor activities within a 20-30 min drive. The AC worked great while we were there. Only one fan to drive the cold air upstairs (we brought another fan to circulate the air upstairs. Worked really well!)
Yes, you shouldn’t drink the tap water. It’s advertised as having a water cooler stocked, but it was not. There was maybe a gallon of water left for our 3 night stay. We anticipated this might happen due to others’ reviews, and brought our own water (weather was in the 90’s+ while we were there for our 3 night stay). It worked out great!
The kitchen had basic utensils to make basic meals with one pot and pan. plenty of plates/bowls/cups. No dishwasher, and you’ll have to wash your dishes on checkout.
There is a grill (that needs cleaning before use) and a fire pit all on the back deck.
Bring your own games/entertainment. There are a handful of old movies to watch on Blu-ray. For being out in the sticks, there weren’t a whole lot of bugs/rodents in the house.
The not so good: no washer/dryer in the unit. No drying rack (it’s okay, we put our we’re clothes on the banister outside and they dried quickly in the summer), WiFi is incredibly slow but you can use cellular data. Reception is pretty good. No real dining area. No outdoor seating. Sheets were pretty clean - some pet hair here and there. Everything else was great! Would come here again to check out Leavenworth, all the hikes, Lake Wenatchee, Stevens Pass, etc. Thanks!
