Inside, you will find two inviting bedrooms with plush queen beds, luxurious linens, and soft duvets. The sunlit open-concept living area features a welcoming dining space, a warm gas fireplace, and a cozy living room with a bay window and skylights that invite the outdoors in. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing delicious meals after a day by the sea.

Off the master bedroom, relax on the deck furnished with cedar Adirondack chairs, a Weber gas BBQ, and your private hot tub. Cedar Shack Cottage is thoughtfully designed with guests’ comfort in mind. Decorated with beautiful local artwork, your stay will be memorable thanks to many personal touches. The cabin’s natural vegetation provides privacy, yet you are close enough to hear the ocean, and it’s just a two-minute walk across the road from spectacular Chesterman Beach. Cedar Shack Cottage is ideal beachside accommodation for couples or a small family.

The village of Tofino is easily reached by car in 5 minutes, or you can hop on your bike and take the Multi-Use Path (MUP) into town—a 6 km ride. Consider stopping at Outside Break midway for gourmet ice cream or take-out lunch.

For a longer ride, follow the bike trail along Pacific Rim National Park’s beautiful beaches and forest. The trail from Tofino to Ucluelet links both towns with a single, continuous 44 km bike path composed of three sections: the Multi-Use Path (MUP) starting in Tofino’s town core, a scenic route through Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, and the Ucluelet bike path, which connects directly to Ucluelet’s town center.

The cottage was easy access to the beach and lovely walks. We had everything we needed and the kitchen was full stocked for everything we needed for cooking and our dinners. The hot tub and sitting area were very private and we had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend staying in the amazing Cedar Shack. Brilliant for a ladies weekend away.

The cedar shack was cozy and inviting, with every detail for comfort and convenience one could think of. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the neighbourhood quiet, being just a 2 minute walk from the surf. We used the hot tub several times a day. We walked the nearby beaches and enjoyed the town’s restaurants and shops. We’d love to return.

We live on a half-acre property located just steps away from the beautiful Chesterman Beach. Our property is designed to provide optimal privacy for our guests. The lovely gardens feature abundant natural vegetation, including 40-year-old rhododendrons, stunning azaleas, and various flowering trees and shrubs. Many have described it as a slice of heaven.
