Onward!
Enjoy my peaceful home near the Big Thompson River, just a short walk from Rocky Mountain National Park. You`ll have access to 12 acres of shared wooded grounds, a playground and picnic area, plus a quarter-mile of private river frontage that is part of our neighborhood HOA.
The Aspen Tree Cabin is light, bright, and spacious, with vaulted ceilings and lots of windows to enjoy the views. The Big Thompson River is just fifty yards away. There are great mountain views right off the deck, where you can begin your mornings with coffee as you plan your hikes and watch the hummingbirds. If you`d like, you can eve walk along the river near the house straight into Rocky Mountain National Park. It`s an easy flat hike to Moraine Park, one of the prime wildlife viewing areas in the national park.
If you fish, you`ll enjoy the quarter-mile of private river frontage just steps away. (We don`t provide equipment, but we can point you to the right place in town to rent it.) Cook up your trout on the grill and dine outside at the picnic table on the deck. The kitchen has bakeware, pots and pans, and a full complement of utensils. If you don`t feel like cooking, downtown Estes Park is only 2.5 miles away, and our favorite restaurants -- Bird and Jim and the iconic Rock Inn Mountain Tavern, are both within 1.5 miles.
On the main level you`ll find a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and a comfortable living room where you can watch TV or enjoy a fire in the moss rock fireplace. The main floor also features a bedroom and bathroom, plus a laundry facility you`re free to use.
BEDROOMS
Bedroom 1 on the main floor features a king bed and attached full bathroom.
Bedroom 2 on the second floor features vaulted ceilings, a queen bed, and great views of Eagle Cilff Mountain. It`s connected to Bedroom 3 with an attached bathroom.
Bedroom 3, also on the second floor, has a queen and two single beds. The trundle can sleep an adult, or it`s a great option for young children not quite ready for a `big bed.` This room has its own TV with DVD player, and features a vaulted ceiling and great views.
Guests have full access to my home, which includes the deck and grill on the deck, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen and laundry room with washer and dryer. The garage is reserved for owner use and inaccessible to guests. Guests also have access to the HOA common areas, which include some riverfront land that you can fish from as well as a playground and picnic area.
Your main point of contact will be with my cohosts at The Wolf Rentals. They are long time Estes Park locals and you will be in great hands. Feel free to reach out and they will get back to you as soon as possible!
NOISE
Events, loud music and noises, and parties are strictly prohibited. Please be respectful of your noise level so I can maintain good relationships with my neighbors. We use a Minut noise meter, which is endorsed by AirBnB. It does not record audio, but instead monitors decibel levels, temperature and humidity. This is for the safety of guests and to protect the home. It also serves to warn us about parties and prevent noise complaints from neighbors. It is located on the ceiling in the kitchen.
ADDITIONAL & NONPAYING GUESTS
Nonpaying and non-registered guests are not allowed on property. A security camera on the outside of the building is present to prevent parties and deter nonpaying guests.
AIR CONDITIONER
Like nearly every other home in town, there’s no A/C. Thankfully mountain air blows down from the high peaks and will cool down the place quickly in the evenings if you open the windows.

The house was a great place to relax at the end of a busy day. The location was quiet and just out of the way of the busy town. We saw elk roaming around the property which we all loved to see and so close to RMNP. We will stay here again on our next visit to Estes Park.
We loved staying here. It was the perfect space for our family. Everyone had their own space with all the comforts of home. The view and wildlife sightings were great too. The master bed was too firm for us but the upstairs beds were great. The cabin is close to the park and town but far enough way to get the quiet of nature that we wanted. We had a wonderful week here at Wind River.

Thank you so much! We appreciate your business and your feedback.
Great cozy cabin with lovely fireplace and comfortable beds for all. It was a great place to introduce a 2-year-old from Florida to snow, but be sure you are driving a 4-wheel vehicle! The cabin, however, was lacking in a few "staples" like kitchen cleaners, tissues, soap, etc. and the kitchen ware has seen better days!

Beautiful home and great location!!
Home has plenty of space for several groups of friends or a family, and is in a great neighborhood! Many basic supplies and area maps and guides were provided for our use. We truly enjoyed our week here!
Meredith was very nice to talk with and worked with us through a new roof being put on the house during our stay.
Would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone visiting the Estes Park area!
Thank you!

Thanks so much for being such a great guest! We appreciated your understanding about the weather and shipping delays - that work had been scheduled for well before your stay and we did not intend that guests would be in the house when it was done. We hope you visit again!
Central location to rmnp and EP. Grounds were immaculate. Basic supplies were in house including toilet paper, paper towels, cooking utensils and plates/cups.Spacious for 2 grandparents, 2 parents, 3 kids.

Family Getaway
We had a great time picking up our older daughter and son-in-law at the Denver airport and driving with our college and high school age boys to Estes. The house was very nice and had everything that we needed to grill and cook to keep away from the crowds of Estes. We enjoyed a little hike across the river as directed in the notebook left at the home. Games, movies, golf, shopping, looking at the Stanley and a drive into the park were our long weekend.

Estes Park Vacation: Rocky Mountain Exploration
This home was clean, very comfortable and one of the best equipped vacation properties I've ever stayed at. It was very near all sorts of activities and walking distance to one of the Rocky Mountain National Park trails. The area was quite and beautiful and every night we went to sleep to the sound of the stream in front of the house. The photos and description matched the actual property. The owner had also left numerous guide books and reference material. We also enjoyed the next door neighbor's hummingbird feeders although at times the hummingbirds got a little too friendly (too close) for comfort. Nearby activities included shopping in Estes Park, horse back riding (less than five minute drive), the Stanley Hotel (for Shining fans), and all types of tours. We would recommend this place and would stay here again for our next trip to the area. The only note I would add to the description of the place it is not air conditioned. This is not a problem most summer days but it did get a little warm in the afternoon when the air outside was over 90 degrees F. But since the nights were in the 50's, this was a very brief period during the day, and we were normally out of the house then anyway.
This was about perfect! The location and the neighborhood and the cleanliness. Thanks for helping with the memories! My wife and I took our three teenage daughters and my 70 year old parents. My dad was a Vietnam veteran and we are trying to show him some places of the country he served. Thanks again!
Cozy cabin in a nice quiet neighborhood that feels somewhat remote but is still close to town. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed for a few days. Our little ones loved the HOA playground.

Thanks for your visit. To future guests, just want to make sure everyone's expectations are met: this rental is in a community of townhomes on the bank of a river. It is not remote and we are clear about that in the listing. If you seek complete solitude, you'll need to search 20 minutes outside of Estes.
Great location!
10 Min to Estes Park
5 min to RMNP entrance.
1 minute walk to Big Thompson river. Excellent fly fishing.
Nice views and nice setting.
Cabin is clean and comfortable
We highly enjoyed our stay!
The home was in a great location by the river, clean and cozy. We had a 2 year old with us and were very thankful that the house had a pack-n-play for sleeping and a high chair. We were able to walk with her to a community playground and into RMNP for some beautiful views and deer sightings. In the first weekend after the park was opened, we chose to eat in for every meal. The house was very well equipped with all of our needs. We certainly enjoyed dining on the patio facing the river. The owner, Meredith, was very informative and helpful with all of our questions, including recommendations for hiking in the Park. We would definitely return here!
The house was well stocked and has an awesome view! We really enjoyed the location of the house and its proximity to RMNP. Meredith (the owner) was awesome to work with! My kids hated leaving!
