Cozy chic home with a fantastic host!

I enjoyed my stay here. Everything was as advertised and the host, Estelle was quick to respond when I did have questions. The bed was comfortable and I loved the extra large television in the living room. Overall, it was the perfect place for me during my work contract.

Kitchen items

The only thing I would recommend is add a few items to your kitchen. I prefer to cook than go out. The kitchen could use a can opener, plastic cutting board and maybe a toaster. Neighborhood and location were nice.

Place was good but would have been nice to have guide of trash days. Did not put trash out because didn't know when and there was trash in the containers from previous. Took a few days to figure out TV also since I don't use that system.

The place was adequate. No toaster, no hair dryer, no shampoo or bodywash. Several items fell off the walls since they were attached without wall anchors. All the dishes were dirty and in the dishwasher. Had to run the dishwasher and wait for dishes to be used. Cleanliness was a problem all over. Both trash bins were full and we put them on the curb. Queen bed was not comfortable since it was in a a thick plastic bag. Location was nice. Had a great surprise since a fawn was born right before we got there and laid in the backyard the whole time. Owner responded but not sure she followed up with my list of concerns.

Disappointed

I can appreciate the potential that this property has, however I continuously found myself disappointed. Along with cobwebs on ceiling corners and windows, there was long term build up of dust on nearly every baseboard. Doors and door knobs were dirty including the handles on the fridge which had crusty stuff on them. There were a plethora of used pantry items. There were even several bottles of used vitamins in the cabinets. Under the sink was so disgusting with unknown crumbs and crust. The kitchen did not have a cutting board, pizza cutter, or cooking spatula which I think are basic things to have. The drawers where silverware is kept were also full of crumbs which made us very uncomfortable using them. The space between stove and countertop was horribly dirty. Anywhere it could be dirty, was dirty. There were used full sized shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathrooms. The towels and wash cloths left for our use were damp and one wash cloth still smelled like body wash. Two dead bugs were found on the carpet - one in the master bed and one in the hallway. Crusty water damaged toilet paper was found under the sink in the half bath when we were looking for a replacement roll. One of the windows in the front room did not lock and the window in the master bedroom only had one working lock. Not enough characters allowed for full list of issues. Owner couldn’t believe the cleanliness issues I had but I have photo proof. She offered to remove the food, nothing else.
