Lovely fall getaway
This cottage was a great spot for a long fall weekend. Rustic enough to feel like a real cottage, but with all the comforts of home and obviously very well cared-for. The owners are right next door and friendly and available but never intrusive. We liked being on the lake but still having convenient access to shopping in town just a few miles away. Our stay was too short to do many of the nearby activities, but we had a lot of fun just hanging out on the dock enjoying the lake. We got to see an eagle soaring over the lake and a loon diving for fish, and we also took a lovely walk up the road to enjoy the fall colors and perfect weather. Our kids are already begging to come back for a whole week in the summer!
We rented this cabin for a girls getaway that included the need to do some skiing! We were so happy when we arrived and saw how clean and comfortable the cabin was. The boat launch was easy to access and the lake was amazing! We spent most of our time there on the water, floating, skiing and swimming. The windows in the cabin were new and offered excellent views of the water. Kind of a tiny kitchen, but there was no reason to spend time inside cooking, this was a vacation. Hardly any boat traffic during the week, not sure what it would look like on a weekend. I would go back in an instant!
