Liberty Pines is a spacious 5-bedroom, 4-bath log cabin located 10 minutes away from downtown Moneta, 15 minutes from Bridgewater Plaza and 45 minutes from both Roanoke and Lynchburg. Nestled on a quiet waterfront cove and surrounded by 32 scenic acres, Liberty Pines is a rare private jewel at Smith Mountain Lake. There is no hot tub fee, no pet fee and no linen fee! Use the hot tub, bring your pets and arrive to fresh linens and beds made all free of charge! The stunning Liberty Suite boasts a king-size bed, wet bar, mini frig/microwave, sitting area, dressing room with a desk, and a master bath with a jacuzzi tub and double shower. The Freedom Room also has a king bed and private bath. The Independence Room has a queen bed and private bath. The Bear's Den is set up for children with books, toys, and a full-size bunk bed with a pull-out full trundle bed. The Cardinal Room has a queen bed. Also on the main level is a formal living room with a pull-out sofa bed; the great room with three power recline couches and a wood burning fireplace; large, well-equipped kitchen with a table that seats eight; mud room; and laundry room. The full basement is perfect for a game of ping pong, billiards, board games, video games, jazzminton, spike ball, corn hole, or simply relaxing. Outside is a swim-spa that seats eight; a Blackstone grill, gas grill and charcoal smoker; plenty of outdoor furnishings including a gas fire pit, wood fire pit, lounge chairs, dining table and chairs , disc golf, volleyball, and three sitting areas around the house. At the covered dock is a peddle boat, kayak/stand up paddle board, tandem kayak, refrigerator, gas grill, wifi, and picnic table for guests' use. Military discount available!

We had a great stay and made fun memories! The home has everything you need to fix meals for the family. There are fun trails to explore and the boat dock is relaxing. Lots of games in the basement. Hope to come back!

Everything you can think of...this place has in abundance. Lovely extra touches everywhere, plenty of charging stations, kitchen accommodations inclusing most basics like spices and condiments. Wish we had more time to take advantage of all the amenities.

Amazing House!!

This was an awesome lake house! We had 9 people stay for a girls weekend and the house had everything we could have possibly needed and was very clean! The host was very easy to communicate with and even stopped by to let us know that they live near by if we needed them. I would absolutely book this house again for a friends or even a family trip!

Relaxing and Wonderful

Highly recommend Liberty Pines! Everything you could need for cooking & entertainment. Basement was incredible w/loads of games such as ping pong, pool, & video games. Much of our time was watching nature outside on the amazing back porch.

Spectacular Property

The house is the best rental property we have stayed. The house was spacious enough for 10 people. The dock and everything that was available to use was unbelievable. We used the kayak and pedal boat everyday. My adult children loved the basement gaming area and all it had to offer

First Class weekend

Family from three states joined together for a holiday weekend. The home was terrific. The photos don’t do it justice. Well appointed. We enjoyed the Blackstone grill for making meals, the hot tub, boating and fishing at the dock, and playing pool and ping pong.

This house is spectacular. Just like the online photos. It’s big but cozy. Lots of room to spread out, but several places to gather together. It has absolutely anything you might need. Very well stocked with kitchen supplies and bath essentials. The bath towels are plush and the beds are comfortable and cozy. The property is just as inviting with a huge yard full of wildlife, a spa tub, fire pits and a dock we could spend days on. No complaints with this property. Wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely would like to come back here
