We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was the perfect size for our family. It was well stocked with all the essentials, and it was clean. It does need better serving utensils, so I did add a few to the drawer. There were areas that needed improvement, such as the porch area could be cleaned up and better screens would prevent the bugs from gettin in. It would have been nice to have a kayak or two, and also a fire pit should be added. We opted to buy one and bring it with us. We did have a plumbing issue, but the owner’s family was staying on the premises, and responded very quickly, and solved the problem. All in all, we had a fun time, the weather was perfect and we would stay here again.

I am originally from Illinois, but I have been coming up to Boulder Junction ever since I was born specifically I grew up coming up to Forest lodge resort my whole life. I love everything about the Northwoods and helping people experience. The great outdoors is one of my passions.

In my opinion, Forest lodge is one of the best ways to experience. The Northwoods. Forest lodge has rich history and high Lake has phenomenal fishing and wildlife.

What makes this property unique

The birch is a great opportunity to experience a cabin in the woods with easy access to a private pier, a beach, and a private boat launch. Whether you were traveling with a boat or not, Forest lodge is a great place to spend a week in the Northwoods.
