Deer Ridge Lodge is an inviting 16-acre wooded estate nestled between a large pond, nature, and a scenic secluded setting! The perfect environment for the group retreat you deserve- whether big or small! Enjoy our seasonal (Memorial Day-Labor Day) in-ground outdoor pool, hot tub, outdoor games, theater room or visit nearby hikes and attractions! Catch and release outdoor pond, please do not attempt to catch the koi fish! Warm up with a Seasonal Fireplace in the Fall or Winter! Our Lodge is the luxury space you're looking for with private sleeping accommodations and entertainment for up to 26 guests! Must be 25 years or older to rent. AWD/4WD recommended in all seasons. Free WiFi -may experience disruptions and outages

Our group was 11 sorority alums from the ‘70’s. The house was perfect for us. We could all sit at the large dining room table together and were also able to do our craft there too. There were plenty of beds/bottom bunks for ladies in their 70’s who can’t do top bunks anymore. Our only complaint was the fire ring was nowhere near the house. It took a bit to find it as it’s way up the hill and around the bend past the house and a maintenance bldg.

BOOK IT! This house was perfect for what we needed - bachelorette weekend for 16 40-something women. House was massive (room for all of us without feeling we were on top of each other), property was secluded and well-maintained, comfy beds, plenty of linens, plenty of parking (we had 6 cars), pool and hot tub were immaculate. Location was great - 10-15 min drive to Rock House hiking trails, 30 mins to Old Man's Cave, less than 10 mins to Young's Market in Laurelville (great selection for a small store for last-minute groceries). Bonus points for near-immediate responses with the host on my incessant questions - the prompt communication made me feel much more confident in booking from out of state. You made me look like a rock star with the rest of our group for finding this place - trying to find an excuse to book again!

The property was very peaceful. There was plenty of room for our group (5 adults and 2 kids). Two refrigerators and two stoves -- you could have fed a lot more people! The pool and hottub were great. One thing to consider is that there are steps up to the hot tub and then up to the pool. This wasn't much of an issue but for those with mobility issues, it is something to consider. The fishing in the pond was very fun - lots of bluegills and even a few bass!

Beautiful property with plenty of space. We had a large group and there were a couple rooms where we could all be together and smaller spaces if someone needed a break from the group.

良かった点 : ロケーション
The bedrooms and bathrooms were plentiful. The house overall was very chopped up as far as kitchen versus eating space. But out biggest concern was the outside areas. The deck to go in and out of had numerous boards that needed secured. There were sooo many boards sticking up making for trip hazards. We all figure there would be some older people involved with a family vacay and this was a dangerous situation. Just a hammer and nails wouldve made a difference. You can do better. No upkeep whatsoever. The landscaping needed lots of help. I'm not sure if the owners care about this property at all. And this was the most expensive of all we looked at. We will definitely be going back to Buffalo Cabins and Lodging that we've gone to numerous times before. Thought we'd try something different....learned a lesson.
