About this property

Beautiful beach house!

Our three story contemporary beach house sits in a neighborhood surrounded by historic cottages in the Pass a Grille section of St Pete Beach, Florida. You'll experience the retro-charm of the Pass-A-Grille fishing village of the 20's and 30's, home of the legendary figure Silas Dent, who drew other early visitors to this quiet island.

Casa Marisol is our getaway from chilly north winter days and urban routine. There is never a loss for something to do in this National Historic District area known as Pass a Grille. Once we arrive, we rarely leave the island.

Our home features accommodations for up to two families with magnificent gulf views, high ceilings, an elevator and lots of natural light and multi-level, Gulf-facing decks. All four bedrooms have exquisite pillow-top beds and you’ll love the huge private master suite on the 3rd floor with the private deck facing those splendid Gulf sunsets. The master suite is enormous with an open floor plan, seating areas, and a private bath with a jacuzzi for two.

Spend the day on a party fishing boat in the Gulf or fish from the nearby Merry Pier, just a block away. Catch a favorite Florida species, snook, snapper or grouper...bring your rod, hat and sunglasses.

Have a romantic dinner nearby, at one of the historic Don Cesar Hotel restaurants. Hunt for shells, watch turtle eggs hatch and swim in warm gulf water so clear you can count your toes. Enjoy the sunrise from your bedroom balcony and sunsets from the living room or master suite decks.

Stroll along the powdery soft white sand beach. Ring the sunset bell at the Paradise Grille and leave your name in the guest log of our charming little fishing village.

Our observation deck rises high above the surroundings with extraordinary views of the Gulf of Mexico and Boca Ciega Bay.

Paradise in Pass A Grill

We traveled with two families and found the property spacious enough for all of us to have our own space when we needed. Excellent location, clean, well decorated, and everything you need for a vacation on the beach. Richard the property manager was great and was always available for any support.

Mostly Great, Location is Awesome

This is a great house in an exceptional location. The owners have done a very nice job decorating. Sunsets are unbeatable and the sound of the surf is magical. We have only a couple of small complaints - the kitchen pans are not good, and a Keurig instead of a regular coffee maker is not ideal for a group. The back bedroom on main floor was not as clean as we'd prefer, and the living room area has a little bit of a smell if windows are not open. Richard was great to deal with, though he did have a miscue connecting with us for a timely check in. Most importantly, double check the elevator when you arrive. Multiple times we opened the door only to stare into the elevator shaft! Richard sent out a service crew immediately and was rightfully alarmed, but that would have been a scary hazard if we had young children.

Thanks for the heads-up review, George. As advised, we just replaced all pots and pans with new. There was an additional high capacity coffee maker to the Keurig unit, in kitchen cabinet for our guests use. Elevator repair service visit was arranged within an hour of your call to me but was postponed to next day based on your schedule, as you recall. Back bedroom suite was cleaned thoroughly and inspected for any unusual odor, none detectable. Again, thanks for being great guests and we hope you come back soon !

Wonderful!

Casa Marisol is a beautiful home with amazing views. The home was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and well appointed. There was plenty of space for everyone and the upstairs suite was perfect for my husband and I. Great location to everything you could possibly need. Communication with Richard was excellent. It is obvious a lot of pride goes into the care of this home. We would definitely rent again.

From sunrise to sunset

Just perfect. Directly across from the Gulf of Mexico and rear eastern views of the inter coastal. If you want quiet, beauty and convenience of walking to all you’ll need, then this is your place. Richard is great and so responsive. The house is so nice, well appointed and decorated beautifully. Everything you need for the beach and getting around is provided. Highly highly recommend!

Wonderful!

This was our first time visiting this area. Casa Marisol was fabulous! The location couldn’t be any better; close to the beach and close to numerous restaurants. And, the views were amazing. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. We felt at home immediately. It was nice having bikes available and not having to rent them. We brought our own beach gear from home, but we didn’t need to. There were plenty of chairs and other things one might need for a day at the beach. Communication with Richard was great. Hurricane Elsa came through during our stay. He kept us up to date with the latest watches/ warnings for the area. We are looking forward to our next visit to Pass-a-Grille and we hope it will be at Casa Marisol!

Casa Marsol was awesome. It had everything you would need. Beautiful views from every deck. Furniture was extremely comfortable and functional. Richard was excellent to work with. He answered all our questions and call on our way down to let us know about an issue that had happen and he was unable to get resolved before our stay. The house and beach town is well worth the money. We will definitely be back.

Great Location and House

What an amazing house. Fabulous views and beach access just across the street. Loved the layout of the house. Master suite lounge is a fabulous area to relax independent of the kids and an amazing place to watch the sunsets. Well decorated, bright and beach theme. Workable kitchen fully stocked with all utensils and kitchen ware. Linens and bedding fresh and beds comfortable. Loved the hot tub and table tennis was a fun activity on a cold day. Great to have all the towels, beach chairs and beach toys to choose from. Richard was very at tentative and great to work with. Would definitely recommend and I know if we are back in the area this would be the only property we would want to rent.

A perfect place to escape COVID

This property is exactly as it appears in the photos. It’s so relaxing and perfectly appointed (lovely linens and towels) with everything you could possibly need, right down to beach towels. A quick walk across the street and your toes are in the sand! The town itself is lovely and is what you would imagine old Florida to be like. Cute shops on 8th Ave and several good restaurants within walking distance - special mention to The Dewey and The Wharf! The property manager was very helpful and quickly responded to any inquiries / issues. This is the perfect beach get away and only 45m from downtown Tampa. Can’t wait until we can go back!

So perfect you won't want to leave!

The house is very well maintained and the location could not be better. Richard was easy do deal with during the entire process. Sitting on the decks in the morning and evening watching the ocean made each day such a joy. You are close enough to see the manatees and dolphins swimming by Can't wait to return again!

Paradise in St Pete

The property was amazing - everything in the house was ready for us. there was plenty of room and some little extras (like bikes and beach equipment for us to use). The location is absolutely perfect for watching the sunset, a stroll on the beach, or grabbing something to eat at a local restaurant.

Wonderful house in a great location with beautiful views! The photos don't do the house justice. It is beautifully decorated and appointed. Everything in the house is quality and comfortable - you will want for nothing. We were in Saint Pete area for our son's graduation and staying in this house was a highlight of the weekend! My only suggestion would be to make the electronics easier to use - we are good at that stuff and the TVs and music were complicated. Other than that, it was fabulous!

Gorgeous large home, beach is perfect

This home is gorgeous, clean and spacious and we easily slept 7 gals. We could have fit one more if we used the top bunk. Beach is right across the street and 2 blocks over are restaurants, shops so car wasn't needed. There are even beach chairs, beach bikes , beach towels and although we did not cook, everything is available in the kitchen. I have stayed in many VRBO homes and cottages and this was the absolute best home I have ever stayed in. We hope to return for another perfect weekend in Pass A Grille.
