THE SPACE
Escape to the Jewelbox — a cozy, chic 3-bedroom townhome nestled in one of Chicago's most beloved lakeside neighborhoods. Whether you're here for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, this stylish home has everything you need to relax, explore, and feel right at home.

The living room sets the mood with an electric fireplace and smart TV — perfect for unwinding after a day on the town. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a Nespresso machine and a variety of coffee pods to fuel your mornings. When the weather cooperates, enjoy the outside to your private backyard, where a smokeless fire pit is ready for bonfire nights under the Chicago sky.

All three bedrooms are located upstairs, each with a queen bed. The bathroom sits on the middle level and features a full shower. One bedroom also has a convenient iron and tabletop ironing board — great for business travelers or anyone who packed light and needs a refresh. Washer and dryer are available in the basement.

Chicago's CTA makes it easy to get anywhere in the city — grab a day pass or multi-day pass at any train station kiosk, or download the Ventra app. The nearby Metra station is another great option for getting downtown. Prefer rideshare? Uber and Lyft are both readily available.

We were in town for my son’s graduation from northwestern and the property was convenient for everywhere we needed to be. Great neighborhood and excellent location. Property was easily accessible and had everything we needed. If we had a question communication was quick. Loved our time there.

A Gem - Quiet & Clean

We had a terrific stay at Alexander’s townhome in May. We were there to celebrate our son’s graduation from Loyola and needed a large enough place to accommodate a variety of people. The townhome was clean, quiet, and well appointed! The addition of a designated parking space was a big plus, and Alexander was very responsive when we had a few questions. The photos don’t do it justice! Great place and great host!

Very clean. Comfortable for our needs. The keypad entry was difficult to figure out initially. Neighborhood was quiet. Nice to have the off street parking space available; however, we had an additional vehicle and street parking was crowded and difficult to find an additional space to use. Decent experience

The home was nice and the advertised size. However there was a lack of instruction regarding checking in and out and I had to reach out regarding the WiFi info and cleaning instructions. There were no items for doing any kind of kitchen cleanup. There was also only one roll of toilet paper for 6 adults and we had to purchase more and we’re not informed there would be a lack of paper products.

The house is in a great location and is easy to get to. It was spotless and exactly as pictured in the listing. The colors, hardwood floors and design elements really make each room very special. We loved the fireplace and cozy seating in the living room. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is equipped to prepare meals. There's a great shower on the second floor! Our host responded to questions immediately and did everything to make our stay in Chicago memorable.
