  • Wonderful stay at beautiful Jade's Tower

"We stayed at Jade's Tower for two nights as we were making our way up the coast from San Francisco. A beautiful and welcoming place to stay with our two children within walking distance from many shops, restaurants and natural beauty. The tower views and gardens surrounding it are just breath-taking. Felt like home away from home."

  • A homey little post with a million dollar view!

"The property was so immediately comfortable (for 10 adults, no less),fully-stocked (kitchen and bath) and the view right outside the door so impressive that we spent our weekend just trying to take it all in. From nightly watching the sun set from the hot tub, to grilling the afternoon away from the large deck with all the drama and splendor of the California coast crashing away at the cliffs below, we found ourselves with little incentive to wander too far. A great place for kids, and dogs, too, with play structure and safe, fenced in yard. I would definitely stay here again, well worth the price and the trip."

  • Clean, comfy, relaxing with all the amenities you could ask for!

"Driving up to the house is awesome! You see the view of Clear Lake, and then you look to your left, and the house is there, with a perfect view of the lake. The house itself is clean, spacious and homey. Not the homey with cluttered things, but the homey that is modern and clean, but not sterile. The amenities were great (Susan does not lie about what she has in the house, the description is accurate, plus much more), kept us occupied. We needed more time there to be honest. There was a total of 12 of us and we fit in it nicely. We ranged from my parents (seniors) to middle aged (30's), teens, and kiddos (5-8 years). We all had found things to do in the house. The only thing that is an issue is if anyone has the loft beds, it can be hard to sleep if people want to gather in the living room. That said, the early sleepers should get the rooms. The other issue was that in the middle of BBQing on the gill, the propane ran out. There was a place to fill it nearby, could have walked if we wanted, so that was easy enough. Again, wish we had more time at the house to use the propane we filled. But we used our fair share of the kitchen condiments and equipment (well stocked) that I do not mind contributing to the house. Susan and her husband came toward to end of our visit, and was so kind and welcoming, but also gave us our space. They promptly cleanied the dock, took the huge rotting fish out from under the dock and delivered dock furniture. She even installed a two person hammock, which was awesome to lay in. Susan is easy to reach and always in communication. Overall, I can confirm everyone's wonderful review of the house. Modern, clean, well stocked, and great fun to spend time in. Try to spend more than 2 nights in it!"
