  • Most Wonderful Stay in the Hamptons- A Family Dream House

"We have rented many properties via VRBO and without a doubt this one of the best stays that we have ever enjoyed. This is an exceptional home in the heart of Southampton. The location is ideal as it is very close walking distance to town and a short bike ride to the best beach- Coopers Beach. The home is beautifully furnished with a complete finished basement that was a dream for our kids. Tons of toys and just a completely separate play area that allowed them to have a ton of child friendly space without having to play in the rest of the hose. The property itself not only has a gorgeous pool and bbq area with a full dining and lounge area, but it is also completely fenced in so that we had absolutely no worries about allowing our kids to play in the backyard while we bbq'ed and just relaxed. The house has beach towels, beach chairs, bicycles, picnic baskets, amongst many other items that made our vacation just that much more luxurious. Overall, the owners have done an amazing job and have provided to the guests anything you can possibly want for your stay. Most importantly, the owners were the most accommodating and gracious hosts that we’ve had the pleasure of renting from. From the beginning of our stay, Sumi always made herself available to answer any questions and provide any additional arrangements that we needed. They are just wonderful people and their home is truly an extension of that. We would recommend this property to anyone looking to experience a luxurious, quintessential Hamptons vacation."

"Beautiful, lush, quiet spot with great outdoor space, pleasing interior design. We loved the proximity to a local farmstand and bay beach. Had everything we wanted for a relaxing vacation!"

"We rented the house for three weeks and had an awesome time. The house was spotless and well equipped. The heated pool allowed us to use it every day -- patio reclining chairs are very comfortable. The owner, Gerry, was immediately available for any questions we had. One additional bonus to this location was the proximity of the beach (5 mn walk) which we enjoyed tremendously. It is a small quiet beach with a beautiful scenery, away from the hustle and bustle of big ocean beaches. We very much recommend this property to anyone who wants a quiet, peaceful vacation in the Hamptons,"

  • Lovely! Needs a Bridal Shower!

"We came in to escape the city with our 2 adult daughters for Labor Day! Serene setting. The home is clean, nice furnishings, granite in kitchen, new bathroom. It is a lake view versus lake front - there is a house in front off to the right and a shed to the left, but you can still see the lake off at an angle. We couldn't get the WIFI to work, so Richard sent someone to fix it Friday evening. We never did get the cable to work, which was only an issue as that was the weekend the hurricane was expected to hit Long Island, and we wanted to see the weather. We planned to grill dinner Friday night , after exploring some vineyards. We checked before we left, and the propane tank was empty and there wasn't a spare in the shed as listed. We filled the tank, had texted Richard, and he had a replacement tank there by the time we returned. He re-imbursed us the $30 we spent. The one kayak that was on the beach was old, dirty and filled with water. They brought us 2 additional ones by morning, but both of those had water in the hull and needed to be drained before use. It was a lovely kayak trip around the quiet lake! The 2 bikes in the shed were old school and covered in leaves and cob webs. They brought us 2 updated bikes, which provided for a great bike ride into town. The kitchen supplies were very basic - hence the reason for needing a "bridal shower" to refresh the supplies. The plates/bowls were all mis matched. No platters or cutting board. Random bath towels. No napkins. Ran out of toilet paper. Richard was very responsive to our needs, but it we wanted to simply relax, and not be texting him for basic things or run out to the store for toilet paper. It was a super fun weekend and a lovely home, but just needed some re-stocking. Be clear ahead of time if you plan to grill, want better kayaks and bikes. Despite our issues, we would rent it again."
