Isla Culebra (prononciation espagnole: [kuˈleβɾa], "Snake Island") est une île-municipalité de Porto Rico. Il est situé à environ 17 miles (27 km) à l'est du continent portoricain, à 12 miles (19 km) à l'ouest de St. Thomas et à 14 km au nord de Vieques. Culebra est répartie sur 5 quartiers et Culebra Pueblo (Dewey), le centre-ville et le centre administratif de la ville. Les résidents de l'île sont connus sous le nom de Culebrenses. Avec une population de 1 818 habitants au dernier recensement, c'est la municipalité la moins peuplée de Porto Rico.

Appelée à l'origine Isla Pasaje et Isla de San Ildefonso, Culebra est également connue sous le nom d'Isla Chiquita («Little Island») et Última Virgen («Last Virgin», en raison de sa position à la fin de l'archipel des îles Vierges).

Peaceful place

Great view of the lake, and the place is quite comfortable. It was easy to find and check in with the instructions. The place is a 15 min walk from the town center; I liked that it was somewhat removed from all the commotion in town. Sitting on the porch was my favorite thing to do.

Vacation with a workout

The view of the bay was beautiful as promised. A little heads up on the six flights of steps it took to get to our room would have been appreciated. The room was clean and the amenities were as promised. Overall, the villa met our needs.

Great stay! You can't beat that view. Nice breezes and very close to town. The amenities are good: smaller cooler, beach towels (though a couple extra would be nice) beach chairs, ceiling fan and good ac in the bedroom, blender etc. Internet was reliable and good (able to stream and Facetime without issue) One thing, not private at all, you will be sharing a balcony with the larger unit next door. Didn't bother us but book the upstairs unit for max privacy. Overall, the unit is clean and tidy but like every place on Culebra, the sea air does leave a mark on surfaces (like on the fridge) and in the shower. If this is bothersome then Culebra may not be your cup of tea.Hosts are responsive and easy to reach.Would stay again! Miss Culebra already.

Great local near Dingy Dock that had excellent drink and food. View of water from large outside deck. Place was just ok. Sign up to only use dark towels for makeup remover but no dark towels. Entire place not in the best shape. Lights outside not working and the plug was a complete hazard. Already noted by another guest. real bad. Bed comfy, easy to get in , good communication with host.

The property has a great view of the water and it’s very windy and cool. It has most of the basic amenities and it’s a nice size. The check in process was confusing, the address was incorrect and ended up having to find the place based on the look of the pictures because we called and wrote repeatedly but receive no answer or reply.

Amazing Location, Be Careful with the Directions!

This location was ideal coming from the town. It has an amazing view and it was very clean. We wish we had planned a longer stay! The only problem was that when we used the location/address to open Maps for navigation, it brought us very far from the actual location. Be sure to read the instructions included in the listing!! Unfortunately we missed them and the app wasn’t working right to open the details anyways. The owner helped us over the phone immediately. Otherwise, a great stay! Muchas gracias, pasamos la estadía súper bien. El apartamento estaba limpia y tenía todo. La vista es increíble y allí está callado. Que pena que nos quedamos solamente una noche!

Wonderful stay

The home had everything we needed - kitchen supplies for cooking, adequate towels, plenty of space to relax and enjoy the beautiful view. The balcony is large and offers a nice view. The AC worked very well and kept the bedroom nice and cool. The lighting in the bathroom was excellent. One thing to be aware of is that there are multiple units used for vacation rental in this home, so you will likely have neighbors. The unit we rented was perfect for two people. The balcony is shared. The first night that we arrived, there was a very large group renting the unit on the same level with the shared balcony. They were very nice but the balcony was a huge mess and their music was extremely loud. The second night, a huge group of people moved into the upstairs unit, took all the street parking, and were up late playing music and making tons of noise. We expected a quiet, secluded area, and this place could offer that if the other units were not being rented to such large groups. The street parking available is adequate only for about 3 vehicles, maybe 4 golf carts. If all units are rented out at the same time, there is not enough parking for all guests. Putting aside the disturbances from other guests, this place is awesome. Advice I would have for the owner is to decrease the occupants for all units to maintain a quieter, more enjoyable experience for every guest, not just the large groups.

Restful Vacation Casita

We had an excellent stay at this property and will be returning again on our next vacation. Deck was the best part, large, great view, took a few siestas on the pallet bed out there. We stayed in the small apartment which was just fine for two and the AC in the bedroom was appreciated. Plenty of kitchen supplies to cook with just need a blender for drinks. Managers/owners were very helpful and responsive, key lock box is a great way to go for checking in. Area was just far enough away from the main town to be private but close enough to get there quick. Very nice stay overall and the island is fantastic, locals are great you just need to get into the island vibe and enjoy.

Over 3 years with 5 star reviews. Never a complaint at the Villas. Guest arrived and the villa looked too calm and secluded for their taste. Culebra Island is a beautiful and peaceful place for precisely rest from the city. Too bad unit did not meet criteria. Thanks this guest is less than 1% of the guests we welcome on a daily basis that fall in loveee with the Villa and Culebra.

This property has a great view. It’s 3 min driving from restaurants and stores and it has all you need for short/ long staying. The only thing that could be better was the in unit shower(villa 2) that doesn’t have enough water pressure. The outdoor shower was great though. The ac was great .

This studio was absolutely what I wanted for my short stay in Culebra. The front deck is spacious with comfortable chairs to enjoy the breeze and ocean view. The studio looked remodeled with an Caribbean looked to it. The location is literally 5 min drive to the town. It has all u need including chairs for the beach, books to read and more. Sheila was super helpful with all my question and was always available when I called her. I will recommend and most definitely will choose to stay here again. 👍🏻

We booked our 3rd trip once again at this home. It never disappoints! We love the views and cool, constant breezes of the quiet Punta Aloe area. Walking distance from downtown, private community docks to fish at, a kitchen to cook said fresh catch, and views to die for! The views and deck make the best spot to start out or end your days and evenings. We we're already in love with staying at this home and then the owners took additional pride and care in updating it fresh with AC, beautiful mood setting decor, and cable TV. The beautiful home is even more gorgeous now! We loved the care and love they put into the units. All the comforts you need for a beach vacation in the Caribbean. We'll always stay here for our trip. You won't regret staying as guests here at all!
