The bedding was not clean in my room. No hand soap to wash hands. Difficulties getting into house. Last 4 of my phone did not open front door. This is the most I have ever paid for VRBO plus a cleaning fee? Very disappointed. Will not ever book at this place again.

We wish you would have reached out to us with any concerns so they could have been remedied immediately.
It appears you were trying to get into the lock box on the window sill and not the front door entry box. I don't understand how you got into the house if your code did not work.
All the bedding was new, including the bedspreads. We was the blanket and bedspread each time, this is why we have thin quilts for bedspreads. Can you please tell me what was not clean.
There is hand soap upstairs, dish soap and body wash in the showers. The hand soap by the downstairs sink was
low, I've asked the cleaning crew to be sure and top it off each time.
The house is large and sleeps 10.
We are sorry it did not met your expectations.

Our stay was short because we decided to immediately move to another location, primarily in view of staining/discoloration of the bedding (even though I lost the large majority of what I had paid for the over one week stay). See the included photo of pillow, which is one of many we took. Basically, my wife was grossed out, and once that happened, it was game over for us. I’m giving an extra star because the owner was courteous in our discussions, though he disagreed with our assessment, and because he said he would look into issues I raised for future guests. Hopefully, this will not be an issue for anyone else. I ended getting another place, but because it was last minute, I had to get hotel rooms for the first night of my stay until the new property was ready. The new property had none of the issues I reported regarding bedding, and we ultimately had a lovely stay. My lesson learned is that I will never again rent a property with a “no refunds” policy.
