Great place to spend time with family. The teenage age grandchildren loved the pontoon boat, swiming off the boat and the fishing was amazing. The beds were very comfortable and surroundings so quiet. I highly recommend this this place.

My friends and I were looking for a relaxing trip and this cabin was just that. We were able to all relax and enjoy the lake. The place was big enough to sleep all of us. We met a neighbor and they were nice as well!
The house was beautiful, clean, spacious and comfortable and the view of the lake was lovely. Sitting on the deck drinking coffee or a glass of wine was a perfect way to start or end the day. It was a wonderful end of summer getaway.
Scott was easy to get a hold of and responsive to needs. Quiet lake with homes set back, almost felt like our own private lake. Great view from the deck.

Thank you for the 5-star review Betsy and I'm happy to hear you and your family enjoyed your stay.
My family of 12 stayed here and had a wonderful time! The house didn't seem crowded for all 12 of us at all! It was clean, kids enjoyed the games and of course we spent 90% of our stay on the pontoon fishing and sunning. I would recommend it!
Great place to get away and unplug! We spent a week at the house with four older teenagers and everyone had a blast! The view of the lake from the house is beautiful and the kids loved swimming and fishing daily. The house had three floors so no one ever felt crowded. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck playing cards every night while watching the lake. Did I mention we had the lake completely to ourselves for four of the days?! Scott was super responsive and the house had everything we needed/wanted including a crockpot, coffee pot, Keurig, inflatable tubes for the lake and a dartboard for the kids!
This lake house was perfect for our family. It was very clean, organized and so beautiful.
We really liked going out on the boat to fish and swim in the lake! Our family really enjoyed our stay, wish we could have stayed longer! Scott was excellent, he is very nice and professional. You can tell he is proud of this property and it shows by how well taken care of it is. Highly recommend booking your next trip here!

We had a great time here. The place was very clean with a lot of extras included. There were games for the kids, cleaning supplies, well equipped kitchen & numerous other things available to use. Thank you again Scott for letting us come into your home to make memories with my family. The fishing wasn't very good but, we made up for it by spending alot of time at the beach at Camp 6 (Laurel Lake). :)

Hello Shelly,
Glad you had a great time. Your 4 stars sounds like 5 stars!

Everything was perfect! Communication with Scott was super easy and the location was super nice. Not sure how Scott did it but he got us perfect weather! The pontoon boat was an awesome perk and the private lake was great. The only thing that kind of sucks is that the dump you have to take your garbage is 30 mins away but that’s to be expected in the north woods.

Over priced for the quality of the stay.
Nice and roomy. Loved the roomy bedrooms. Stains on the carpet in the hallway, took a picture when we arrived. No coffee, no paper towels. Paid the cleaning fee but had to remove our own trash. It was nice but not the quality of our last 2 Vrbo stays.

I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the roomy bedrooms. It's tough for me to see the 3-star rating but I understand you were disappointed in a few things.
We do put out a roll of paper towels for each new guest so our cleaning person must have forgotten that week. Also, there is coffee in the cabinet above the coffee makers. Regarding the trash, there is an explanation about trash in the "info on your stay" docs I sent out before your arrival. Our lake house is in a remote area and does not have municipal trash collection. The solitude is great but fewer people means fewer services. However, we have been considering other options to deal with this.
Regarding the stains on the carpet, we had carpet cleaning scheduled two weeks after you left.
I will be sure to make corrections as it is important to me that our guests leave happy and wanting to come back. Thank you for sharing your comments.
Host is super responsive and the property has pretty much everything you need. The lake is pretty small, but super clear and great for bass fishing! Personally, I feel that the “sleeps 12” is a stretch, and think the furniture and beds would not be adequate for that many. Inflatable mattress needs to be replaced as it deflates within a couple hours. Loved the touch of
having puzzles and movies available, as it was great to have during rainy times. Overall, really nice place to spend our week!

Thanks for the 5-star review Jennifer and sorry about the trouble with the air mattress. That'll be replaced this week, thanks to your comment
This is a very nice, well build and well kept cabin! We all had a great time! A couple items of note, the estimate that it sleeps twelve is probably a little overstated. In order to have 12, you need to have 2 people on every sleeping surface, including the air mattress - so it can be done, especially if you have lots of kids. Also, there is no trash service. You have to take all the garbage with you and the dump option that was noted was 25 miles (in the opposite direction for us) from the cabin. These notes aside, it was a beautiful property on a gorgeous quite lake. Scott was a great and very responsive host!
This was a first time using Vrbo. Scott was great at answering a first-timers questions. The house was beautiful! Having the pontoon was amazing. We went out every day to spend in the center of the lake swimming. By every day I mean 5-6 hours every day. We only left the house once, to eat at a supper club, which we do every year. There was a variety of games that included something for everyone. We had 7 adults and 2 children (4 and 7). We spent several meals out on the deck and the table inside accommodated 9 people comfortably. We are a camping family and this was our first transition to renting a place and the one thing everyone agreed on was having a dishwasher was so exciting!! Thanks Scott!

The property was beautiful. We really enjoyed our ability to use Scott's pontoon. A few things on his information notice was outdated. This did not cause an issue. He is very easy to contact for information.
