We've lived in Woodstock at this house for the past 25 years. Its a great family getaway location, perfect for several couples or family gatherings looking to spend some time in the Catskills and exploring Woodstock. Ben is a retired environmental engineer and Kim is a retired teacher. Our kids grew up chasing toads in the gardens and doing cannonballs off the back deck. We still live here part time during the year, but as we spend more time abroad and out of town it seemed the right time to put the house back into the rental pool (no pun intended!) . We rented this house in the past with great reviews and are just now getting on board with the new local regulations. Its been a great location and property for us and we hope you and your family can enjoy it as much as we do.

Known as the "Zena neighborhood" in the Town of Woodstock, this area is essentially an extension of West Hurley. Super close to the Ashokan Rail Trail, 3mi from the Village, and a short 10min drive down the hill to Kingston. 15 mins the other direction puts you into the heart of the high peaks region of the Catskills for rafting, hiking and skiing. Best of all are the wealth of local trails that offer short 45min-1hr walks in the woods along creeks and waterfalls.

Newly installed 8ft high fence to keep out coyotes and bears helps keep pets safe and secure. It was a game changer for our two small dogs! Plenty of space in the grass to spread out for lawn games, or just relax on the swing, by the fire, or on the deck. 27' pool with a new liner is expansive and tranquil on hot summer days. The property is stacked with perennial gardens teeming with butterflies, humming birds, woodpeckers, and bunnies. You may decide to never leave the property!
