The house is also somewhat unique in that it's a remodeled 1967 tri-level with a finished garage. As it sits, the front door was once the back door and has the sunroom built on covered in reclaimed barnwood for extra charm when entering the home.

The front sunroom has 3 seating areas, an infrared sauna, and the indoor/outdoor bar. The bar is the perfect hangout spot in the warmer months, with a popcorn machine and a drinks fridge inside and a wall-mounted TV, plus you can open up the sunroom French doors to the patio with a BBQ grill area. The whole front yard becomes one big hangout space with easy access to the kitchen right behind the sunroom.

As you enter the house you’ll be in the bright, well appointed kitchen. Enjoy the smell of a freshly brewed pot of coffee or a home cooked meal. Or maybe just a quick cup from the Keurig from the coffee station before heading out for the day. The dine-in kitchen has a spacious table that seats 6 with additional bar seating for 4. And the Designated Chef (there’s always one) will love the kitchen amenities, like the pot-filler faucet.

With multiple living spaces you may not be able to choose between relaxing on the sectional sofa with recliners and watching the 75” smart TV or immersing yourself in the ultimate game room. Is chasing ghosts with Ms. PacMan or fighting off alien invaders, Galaga style, your thing? Or maybe shuffleboard is more your speed. It’s been a long day, how ‘bout we just sit and play a few hands of cards or one of the many board games. You can play bumper pool tomorrow…

The house has 5 bedrooms with beds even Goldilocks would approve of; not too hard, not too soft, but just right!

Upstairs you will find the Boulder Flatirons room that has a California King Sleep Number bed with an en-suite bathroom and a 55” smart TV. The Hiking room has a king bed, and a 50” smart TV. The Skiing room has a double bed and a 43” smart TV.

If you really want peace and quiet head down to the library and peruse through the book selection, then read in the comfortable wingback chair or, if work demands your attention, plug your laptop into the curved monitor located on the libraries’ desk.
Downstairs you will find another double bed in the Denver International Airport decorated room with a 43” smart TV and a reading corner. And last but not least is the Denver room with a King size bed and 50” smart TV.
All 3 bathrooms are classically decorated and feature rain shower heads with a supplemental shower head with different spray patterns that can also be hand held and might make you want to stay in the shower all day!

The front of the house has the open BBQ grill area where your Designated Chef can whip up (by this we mean meticulously simmer for an upsettingly long time) delicious meals while catching up with the group hanging by the bar. Open up the bar and the Designated Bartender can serve drinks while the rest spread out on the patio chairs and tables.

Off to the side by the bar, the patio opens up further and you can enjoy sitting by a fire pit under the string lights in the trees and watch the sun go down as you perfect your s’mores making skills.There are 2 tables with seats and patio sofa seating here too so the whole group can enjoy this space together.

THE AREA:

There’s a ton of things to do in this area from leisurely shopping to concerts, sports events, and of course immersing yourself in the stunning scenery of the Rocky Mountains.

We’ve highlighted a few great places to grab food and drinks just a few miles from Colorado Crossroads. And, of course, both Boulder to the west and Denver to the south are less than a 30 min’s drive away so you’re close to all the action!

You can hike, bike, golf, and ski, set up a picnic by an alpine lake, ride the scenic Colorado Railbike, or hit a concert at the Red Rock Amphitheatre. Shop and dine in the various towns and malls like the quaint Orchards Town Center just 8 minutes away or the 16th Street Mall in Denver. In less than 10 minutes you can hit Topgolf at Thornton or head over to Denver to watch the Rockies or the Broncos.

Be sure to check the event calendar for the town of Erie for close-by fun, like the Hot Air Balloon Festival, and others throughout the early holiday seasons.
