Comfortable Container Home Near Inks Lake

We were looking for a small, unique place to stay during our trip to the Burnet/Marble Falls area while visiting family. This cute container home fit the bill. Its located in a quiet rural neighborhood, off the road & offers complete privacy from neighbors. It was perfect for a couple & we absolutely loved spending time each morning & evening up on the rooftop deck. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to the area!

A Comfortable Spot for a Short Stay

Getting time under the starry sky was the focus of our trip this week. Two of us and our senior pup spent our days in the nearby state parks and settled in for the night as the stars came out. I very much enjoyed taking our binoculars up to the rooftop.The container is well appointed and comfortable. All the details were shared so we could access the property easily and keep to our schedule worry-free. A shady spot or other improvements to make the outside space more comfortable might make this the perfect place to “unplug” and enjoy the Hill Country.

Private and Cozy

The location is convenient to hill country attractions on a property that is private and gated. The comfy bed fills up the end of the unit and has some cool automatic blinds. The roof area is also nice. Would be great for star gazing or relaxing. Didn’t get to try it due to rain. There is a dog fee if you bring any (limit 2). We recommend bringing shoes for dogs if you have them due to burrs on ground in this part of the hill country.

Amazing container home - great use of space. Super isolated; great night views of the stars and moon. Kitchen is limited and I initially had trouble using the stovetop. No oven, toaster oven or microwave. Hill country is great, but those stickers can be a drag so it is best to leave shoes outside. A few roadrunners came for a visit and that is always special. I hope you figure out exiting the gate quicker than I did.

Great little place, close to the park. Tucked away, but easy to find. Lots of stickers for the pupcakes, so shoes for them are a good idea if you can get them to wear them.
