About the host
Hosted by Janet Randall
I'm a just-retired professor who has been hosting for many years. I'm a long-time resident of Huron Village and appreciate its charm, quiet, and green.
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood is special. Walk 15-20 minutes and you're at the Harvard Square T station, with a direct connection to downtown Boston. Go in a different direction to Porter Square or to Alewife, with its direct bus to NYC, Jog the path at Fresh Pond, or bike to the Minuteman Bike Trail that runs 10 miles to Bedford on a converted rail line.
What makes this property unique
You will love the connection to the outdoors in the beautiful garden. We have 2 patios, one with a dining table seating 10, the other with low seating around a table or, if you take the table-top off, a firebowl. Play croquet on the lawn or boules on the stone-dust driveway. Lounge chairs and tables and a hammock provide lots of places to relax. In the summer, help yourself to herbs from the garden. And you can work outside within wireless range.
