Conveniently located right off Highway 1, you're just 20 minutes to Morro Bay and 7 minutes to Hearst Castle, making this the perfect home base for exploring California’s stunning central coast.
This cozy coastal property blends charm, comfort, and a touch of adventure-ideal for families, wine weekends, hiking and biking getaways, or simply a peaceful retreat by the sea.
House of Joy offers a warm, thoughtfully designed space where guests can truly relax and reconnect.
Included;
In Main House, two separately located, comfortable bedrooms that provide privacy and restful sleep. Also a dedicated bunk zone featuring four adult-size built-in bunkbeds-a fun and cozy space perfect adults or teens.
The Treehouse and Guest Cottage are two charming, stand-alone spaces that offer comfort, peace, and a unique coastal experience. The Treehouse, outfitted with a queen bed, cozy linens, and HVAC for year-round comfort. The Guest Cottage, features a queen bed, TV, and HVAC for a restful and cozy stay.
Two full bathrooms in Main House, and one shared bathroom for Tree house and Cottage, each stocked with essentials for a stress-free stay.
The main house has a welcoming lounge area with plush seating-perfect for reading, sipping
wine, watching your favorite shows, or enjoying conversation.

A great property for large, extended and/ or multigenerational families to gather. Large outdoor area for family members to come together round a fire pit to share stories and play. Individual sleeping area in tree house and cottage provide private spaces to retreat and recover if/when family interaction gets too overwhelming. Quiet neighborhood, clean rooms. Lots of parking space.

Plenty of space, comfy beds and thoughtful amenities. Outdoor space is wonderful! Really the only complaint was the barking dog next door barked all day, so it was annoying when we were enjoying the outdoor space.

The House of Joy was perfect for our big family vacation! The pictures of the outside areas don’t do the space justice. Our youngsters were able to run around outside in the fenced yards without having to worry. The bunk room was perfect for the kids and the adults were all very comfortable. We did use the hot tub and it was in great working order. The kitchen is lovely but may not have everything you need. The only thing this house doesn’t have is an ocean view but the other amenities more than made up for the fact that we had to drive five minutes to get to water. We loved this house so much we’ve already booked it for next year!

Rooms are clean & orderly with nice & good lighting The host is very friendly & respond to our concerns no long waitingHot tub is ok. Adults didn’t get to use it but the kids did & they enjoyed itKitchen is nice, clean & it has almost everything we need except for paper towel that I hv to call & someone came to deliver a roll. The bath room drain next to the living room drains very slow. Otherwise all else are a joy to enjoy.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The House of Joy is exactly that! There are so many spaces to enjoy inside and outside. The Treehouse, Cottage, and outside patio were pure rustic charm. A full bath is accessible outside as well as a fridge, BBQ, coffee, etc. A TV room enclosed in a zipped canvas with comfy seating was well used! The Hot tub was wonderful. The inside house includes everything to meet your needs. The bathrooms and kitchen are of great quality with various areas for activities. All of the mattresses are excellent. This plan was very intentional to make a fun and cozy getaway for all generations. Our family group of girls loved it!!
