Kyle and his family left our property, our lake house, very clean and followed all the house rules. We would invite them back anytime.
We are pleased that they very much liked our lake house.
I am originally from Beckley, WV, and am a proud Mountaineer/WVU grad, but moved to Dalton, GA, in early 1984 and have loved it ever since. I set up my medical practice, started a family, and worked hard as the city’s first full time nephrologist. My practice grew, I took on partners, and became successful. In the spring of 2013, my wife and I bought this beautiful lake house and we thoroughly love it! After I retired from full time medicine in 2014, this lake house became our refuge, our frequented escape sanctuary. We began to share this sanctuary by means of short term rentals in early 2024. We hope you come to enjoy this place as much as we do. The sun sets in June to August directly between the two massive oak trees framing the lake as viewed from the back deck. The sunsets are spectacular. The view from the fire pit or the dock is so beautiful in its own right, especially with a glass of wine in hand and a fire in the pit! We hope that you respect this place and treat it as a special place, just as we do. ENJOY!!
Why they chose this property
We chose this place (we are the second owners of this house) because we are night people and love sunsets. This house’s back deck faces due west. There are mountains on the western horizon and make the sunsets awesome. Further, we are on the main channel of the lake which translates to year round water under our dock. When we looked at other lake houses, we found ourselves comparing the house we were in to this place. So we said to ourselves, why not pay the extra amount to get what we want!
What makes this property unique
The fantastic sunsets sets this place apart. The lake view, especially from the elevation of the back deck, is so relaxing and beautiful.
