lived here in ATX, then lived elsewhere, been back a while now, and we love it... we're urban gardeners, bon vivants, conscious leaders, itinerant travelers and lovers of the good life, as we see it... we're really fortunate to live in this neighborhood and want to share the best that Austin has to offer, while allowing folks time to just chill out and enjoy a retreat-like 'treehouse' setting. we live in the front house, so you have your choice - we can be as available as you need, or leave you alone. we can provide advice, do daily upkeep, or stock the fridge and pantry for you - with local favorites! - whatever you need. as urban gardeners, we usually have edibles and greens, and more than we can consume, so if that's your diet, we're more than happy to provide greens!

We're told that this property was one of the 'hideouts' for Bonnie and Clyde... indeed, when we renovated the apartment, we found remnants of a hidden stairway in the garage, and a trapdoor in the apartment. It's still visible in the remodel. That's why we call her 'the Bolthole' - the perfect safe house for an escape! We're casual, but we understand great service and have stayed in some exceptional Vacation Rentals ourselves. We like meeting people, or respecting privacy - and we love to share our love for Austin with you!
