We stayed here for two weeks with a large family group of 14 people and overall had a great vacation. The location was excellent, the home was spacious, and when we had issues the staff responded quickly. The main floor AC was out when we arrived, but maintenance had it fixed within about an hour, which we appreciated.
There were a few things that could be improved. With a large group, having only one outdoor trash can made it difficult to manage our trash throughout the week. Trash service would only pick up what fit inside the can, so we were left with extra bags at checkout and had to call to make sure we wouldn't be charged a fee.
We also experienced a few plumbing issues during our stay. The toilets backed up several times, and on one occasion water overflowed and even leaked from a nearby light fixture, which was concerning.
The AC on the main floor went out again on our last night, and we woke up to the house being around 76 degrees. Since we were checking out that morning, we simply reported it and left.
A few smaller maintenance items could also make a big difference: the outdoor shower light was out, there was very little lighting around the grilling area at night, and the shower water pressure could be improved with updated shower heads.
Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay and created many great family memories. With a few maintenance and convenience improvements, this property could be even better.
