This was are second stay at this location and both times was great. It is a nice location and easy to get to.It was nice for grandkids, adult children and myself.
Check in was easy and the house was perfect for your needs. Super cute historic home with lots of comfortable amenities Bed were very comfortable and bathrooms shower is wonderful with lots of hot water. Loved the backyard. The location is perfect if you're want to experience Tucson culture, within walking distance of many good restaurants, bars and the Food Coop is right around the corner for food shopping. The only draw back has nothing to do with the house itself but it's proximity to a local bar, The Hut, which had a live band outside playing very loudly from 10pm to 2am. This made sleeping very difficult. If you stay bring ear plugs, or headphones so you can sleep. There is also quite a bit of late night traffic during the weekend that impacts the otherwise quiet ambience of this lovely neighborhood. All in all we loved out stay and the house.
We stayed here for a week in February and had a really great vacation. We are a family of 5 with 3 teen boys. The house was very nice. Spacious and clean. Lots of options for bedding down (more beds than the description shows. I think there were 2 twin beds, 2 queen beds, a nice day bed with trundle option and 2 couches). The neighborhood is not super nice and a bit sketchy at night, although most cities are that way. During daylight hours it was totally fine (it is right across the street from the high school). Communication was great and we had no hiccups. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because we were thinking the neighborhood would be a little more walkable to restaurants etc, but it wasn't really. Generally, Tucson wasn't a walkable city, so this isn't really a fault of the house. Lots of driving in Tucson!
