Nice and clean but unfriendly service

Me and one of my buddies stayed for the hangout fest this past weekend. We cooked cheeseburgers and got a call from the office saying we cannot "barbecue". Meanwhile later that night we cleaned off the balcony "we are on the 2nd floor" and some water dripped off the balcony. We got another call from the office threatening to remove us off the property with no refund. Because we were "peeing" off the balcony. I never felt more degrading at that point. I would avoid the Phoenix all suites west!

Property was nice

During our visit there was an accident that caused us to loose water for about 12 hours. This caused us not to be able to shower or use toilets . This was not anyone's fault, but it did cause us not to be able to shower to go to dinner and relax. We had a 9 month old baby with us and we were not able to bathe her after being on the beach so I ended up using bottle water in the sink and having to heat bottled water on the stove in order to give her ash off to insure she did not have sand on her so she could sleep. We could not cook because we had no way to clean up etc. I was refunded 100 but that did not even cover the cost of one night stay. This was just a very unfortunate event and wish my family had a chance to redo the weekend in order to have a better memory.

Golf Shores vacation

We had a good time vacationing on the Golf Shores, Alabama. The Phoenix All Suites West was a good location right on the beach and near everything. We got up every day to walk the beach. The suite was good but needs some updates in the kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Good value.

This condo was perfect for our little weekend get away. It is right on the beach with easy access. Unfortunately, we chose a rainy weekend so we didn't get much beach time, but we had fun eating and shopping!

loved it !

First time to use VRBO and we were very impressed. Could not have picked a better place. Very nice, clean and excellent location. The view was wonderful and very short walk to beach. We had no idea what to expect renting a condo we have never seen at a place we have never visited. But we had the best vacation ever ! Will definitely be back.
