About 45 minutes from Hilo, 2.5 hours from Kailua Kona, 1 hour to Volcano National Park. Explore the idyllic and rustic beauty of the Puna Coastline. Take a dip in the Geothermal Hot Ponds at Poho'iki / Issac Hale Park. Explore the 2018 eruption with a Fissure 8 Tour in Leilani Estates. Attend numerous farmer's markets throughout the week. Sunday Funday on the Neighborhood Lawn often with vendors, drumming and fire spinning. The property itself borders hundreds of acres of state land, all wild, native Ohia Lehu'a Forest, the first tree to sprout after a lava flow covers the earth and an epiphyte, like an orchid! anything compostable, compost it. keep the white compost bin the fridge to reduce the chance of attracting any bugs inside.

Beautiful tropical garden with a few chickens and a Nene goose. The studio looked and felt fresh and clean. Everything supplied for your needs. I love the whole area its very peaceful. I will recommend it to anyone

Kalapana Seaview Estates is close to Kehena Black Sand Beach, which is a clothing optional beach. I've always loved sun bathing and swimming. It's an eclectic neighborhood full of Aloha.

What makes this property unique

I custom built this house with my own hands. The gardens are gorgeous and the finish work and cabinets are all custom. There's a private indoor shower, or an outdoor shower for your use! I often wash the dog outside. The property's back yard borders state land with hundreds of acres of Ohia Lehu'a Forest.
