***Bald Eagle Nest – Nature Up Close!***

We’re lucky to have a bald eagle nest on the property in the tall pine tree just beyond the back deck—it's a rare and beautiful sight! You may even catch a glimpse of the eagles soaring overhead or hear their calls echoing through the trees.

Heads up (literally!) The nest is above part of the deck, and the eagles (and their young) can be a little messy. You might notice bird droppings in that area. It’s all part of living close to nature, and we appreciate your understanding!

Feel free to enjoy watching them from a distance, but we recommend not lingering directly beneath the nest for long. If you'd like to move the outdoor seating, go for it! There are 4 exterior security cameras monitoring the front yard and front door entrance entrance; back yard and back entrance; side yard between the cabin and garage; and the lower yard down near the lakeshore.
