Enjoy spacious, light-filled rooms, a private pond, two decks, and a fully equipped kitchen. Want to explore the area? Redd’s is minutes from countless local markets, restaurants, breweries, cafes, and hiking trails across Hudson & Catskill (10 & 12 min) & others!

Approx 10-minute drive from the city center of Hudson & Catskill—close enough to town but tucked into the tranquility of the farmlands that bring you to the private, dirt road that we call home.

Redd’s is best for families or friend groups wanting privacy + space + creature comforts all on-site.

We were in town to go to a wedding at Tydeman Farm, which was a 5-minute drive from the house. The house is perfect for people looking for a home base in the Hudson/Catskill area. It's within a 10-ish minute drive of both towns but is very remote--no one will bother you if you want to spend the weekend hanging outside, grilling and listening to music in the large yard and on the big porch. There is a ton of room in the house for hanging; the basement is very big and open. The bedrooms are lovely, very comfortable beds with nice bedding. Bathrooms both very nice with nice touches (makeup towels!). The house was perfectly clean and has everything you need--we loved using the wireless speaker while getting ready for the wedding. The host provided an excellent guidebook and was very communicative. Great place to stay in a beautiful area.

We had a fantastic weekend at Redd’s Retreat in Hudson, NY. Host provided useful information about the area prior to our arrival. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and items we didn’t even think we needed. Beds were super comfortable and amenities in the bathroom top notch. I especially liked the kitchen with the long wooden dinning table. We locked ourselves out of the house on Saturday morning (long story-our fault) and the host immediately responded to our request to help us gain access back in the home. The outdoor areas were nice however due to inclement weather, we were unable to enjoy them. Plenty of board games in the home to keep you entertained during a rainy weekend. The home is a quick drive to Warren Street, the heart of Hudson and as well as local antique shops. Perfect retreat for a ladies getaway!! Will most definitely return to Redd’s Retreat if visiting the area again.

I grew up visiting my grandparents in Columbia County and it became a life long dream to own a slice of heaven here. The amount of energy and dedication I put into saving for this home is only matched by the love and thought put into building and care our home.

Unlike other Airbnb’s, this is our part-time residence that we open up to select guests. Redd’s offers the perfect escape from reality and the opportunity to reacquaint with yourself, friends and family.

There, you are greeted by the bullfrogs, salamanders, American bald eagle and barn owl that call our pond home. Inside the home, you’ll find charm in every room.
