This charming 2-bedroom, 2-bath home is nestled in the woods for a cozy, private retreat—yet it’s just ten miles from the restaurants, shops, and music of downtown Ocean Springs. Whether you're in town to relax, fish, explore, or just unwind with your pup, this home is the perfect fit.

Inside, you'll find a bright and open layout designed for comfort. The primary bedroom features a queen bed, Smart TV, and an attached full bathroom with a combo tub/shower. The guest bedroom includes a queen bed and a twin—great for families or a small group of friends. There is an air mattress as well for an additional sleeping space.

The main living room has a large Smart TV and plenty of space to kick back. A second living room offers a quiet space to curl up with a book or get some remote work done with high-speed WiFi and a dedicated desk.

The kitchen comes fully stocked with everything you need to whip up meals when you're not dining out at Ocean Springs' many hotspots. Just off the kitchen, the dining area makes it easy to gather and connect.

Step out back and you’ll find a fully fenced yard, perfect for dogs and evening hangs around the firepit. The wooded setting make it feel like your own private retreat. Love to fish or boat? A public boat launch is less than a mile away, so bring your gear and get on the water in no time.

Check in was easy. Backyard is great and the neighborhood is very quiet. I did love the monitor that was available for me to use with my laptop. Loved it enough that I purchased one for myself.There are some things that could be improved though. The furniture is not great for taller people and was uncomfortable. Additionally, the bed in the master bedroom feels like you are sleeping on the floor because it is so low. There is a need for additional cooking utensils and bakeware and the magic screen on the front door almost got me a couple times as I was trying to come inside. Consider a storm door or just a screen door. There is a big issue in that the tub in the main bedroom quickly fills up when you are showering and you find yourself standing in a tub of water. It takes forever to drain as well. Yes, there is another shower but that one does not have great water pressure. Other issues - some darker curtains would be useful, especially since the front porch light is on all night. Lastly, I tried to keep dehumidifier running but it would fill up multiple times a day (one day I emptied it a minimum of three times). Having grown up on the coast, I know that the location cannot be the issue that requires the use of a dehumidifier. One can only assume that there is an issue in the home with water that necessitates the dehumidifier in order to prevent a potential mold issue. There are positives to the home but it needs some help to make it truly a great rental.
