Our lake house sits on a quiet cove on Catfish Lake, on the Eagle River chain,(part of the chain of 28 connected lakes). The Lake House is newly built, with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large deck overlooking the lake and another large screened in porch for meals and just sitting. In addition we have an outdoor fire pit in a beautiful wooded setting. In the summer, you can take your boat to a restaurant for dinner, or into town for ice cream. Our property sits on 5 acres of lakefront perfect for a swim with a sandy lake bottom, kayaking in our quiet cove or a stroll along the lake and forrest. We also have a very long dock that can accommodate multiple boats. In the winter, you can ice fish in our cove, as last year, a guest caught one of the cove's muskies on Christmas vacation. In addition we are close to trail heads of major snowmobile routes.

About Kristi Maximoff
The owner family has been coming to this property for 4 generations and welcome visitors to their Lake House. [The owner also has just completed a new lake home with similar amenities nearby, the Sunset Hill House (VRBO #885424)]
Why Kristi Maximoff chose Eagle River
The property is designed for enjoying all aspects of the north woods: The chain of lakes, the nearby forest, the ducks, fishing, boating, or just sitting in peace. The land has been in the owners family for over 100 years, starting with a small cottage built in 1904. This newly constructed house was the first building added in over 100 years and we welcome you to share in our tradition.
What makes this House unique
This new house sits in a quiet cove. Half the cove is made up of summer cottages and the other half is untouched lakeshore and forest. The lake is a only 75 feet from the house and you can watch the fun from our large deck.
Great stay at the catfish lake house.
Wonderful house on a great piece of property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
A wonderful time!!!
5 couples, all immediate family, met at the cat fish lake house in eagle river. There was plenty of room. We had so much fun sitting on the deck, talking, laughing and playing games! We enjoyed the fire pit, being in nature and the beautiful view (including the resident deer!). The house was clean and cozy. We would definitely return to make more memories 😊
A Northwoods Treasure
It took many years of searching to find this perfect setting for our family vacation with the kids and grandkids. This home is more than comfortable and well equipped to meet our needs. The view of the lake from the deck is mesmerizing. Catfish Lake itself is relatively quiet considering it's size and yet affords the nature lover in us with loon and eagle views.
On those cool cloudy days, there is lots to do in the Eagle River area. Laser tag, miniature golf, go karting and the list goes on.
Some of my fondest memories as a youngster were our family vacations Up North and our hope is that these days on Catfish Lake will leave our grandkids with similar memories.
This place is amazing!!
We cannot say enough about this place. It is very clean, beds are nice and comfortable, living room/dining room/porch are great spaces. They think of everything you would want - washer/dryer, kitchen well stocked with pots and pans and dishes, lots of extra blankets in the closets, extra towels in the bathroom. You name it, they have it. And they just added kayaks and paddleboards for the summer time!! Also, they are amazing to work with, very conscientious and prompt with their replies. We feel so blessed to have this place in the summer and doubt you will find one nicer.
Wonderful Family Gathering Place
Catfish Lake House has been the site of our extended family's Fourth of July week for the past two years, and we could not be more pleased with the property. We would definitely make it an annual tradition if our family's continued growth did not seem destined to outgrow the house. The owner, Kristi, is excellent to deal with and very responsive.
Absolutely beautiful! A true northwoods retreat!
This is our second time staying at the lakehouse on Catfish Lake. Our three children and four grandchildren joined us for a week. Our kids grew up with a Wisconsin lakefront cottage (not THIS nice) and have wanted to share the experience with their children. There is plenty of room for all 12 of us to not feel the least bit crowded. This is a home, and not just a typical cottage. We still would like to come back in the winter to share skiiing and snowmobiling with the grandchildren. By the way, the new paddleboards were a BIG hit with adult children and grandchildren!
