I loved this little cottage very clean and all the things I needed to cook etc. my only complaint was the stairs going up to the bedrooms and the slope down to the water.

This was a great spot to stay. The home was very comfortable and the dock by the river was lovely. We stayed in the spring time and there were so many butterflies around the property. The host left a list of all the fun things to do in the area and they provided many things (games, kayaks, a fire ring, fishing poles) that made this trip really feel fun and relaxing.

Great and cozy place! View from the dock is amazing, screened sunroom/porch was super peaceful. Awesome stay for sure.

The cozy relaxed lakefront decor. Kitchen was very well equipped and appliances and perfect shape. This was a winter rental at a summer lakeside cottage but heat was never a problem and there were lots of cozy blankets as well. The view from the dock was beautiful. Our house was very nice and responsive.

The stairs going up to the bedrooms are steep and narrow. They end in a bedroom without a door, and you have to go through this bedroom to get to the main bedroom.

Very cute cottage, everything you could hope for in a retreat and more. Direct access to water, relaxing and quiet atmosphere, clean, with lots of thoughtful amenities. Near a cute town with a low key local attitude. Highly recommend.

We’ve loved our 2 night stay! The Kayaks, Fishing on the peer & the fire pit were a hit! The beds & cottage set up was comfy too! Love the house & property vibe. The only reason for 4/5 stars is that the stairs to the bedrooms is very narrow & the only bathroom is downstairs so very risking going down in the dark in the night to use the bathroom. Maybe a light at the bottom would help but the top stair curving is added danger. I would not recommend renting if you have mobility or sight issues. The kitchen doesn’t have AC so cooking made the kitchen very hot. Thankfully the AC units are good. These 2 reasons would probably not stop us from renting again as it truly is a beautiful property with so much to do with the beautiful creek in your backyard. Melissa, the host, was so good at communicating with us during our stay. Thank you!

What a great stay! The host responded very quickly to a question I had for her. The house is absolutely charming! The bed was very comfortable and I loved the decor. The wallpaper upstairs inspires me to try something so fun in my own home. The kitchen was well stocked. The view from the dock is gorgeous and the fire pit was perfect on a fall night. This is the perfect little house for a couple to enjoy a weekend get away.
