Host canceled last minute and after speaking with the Vrbo support team who guaranteed host was responsible for issuing a refund, it has been over a week with no refund completed by the host and no communication from host as to when the refund would be completed. She is difficult to communicate with and will apparently charge you 400 just to cancel the booking and then try to keep the entirety of the payment despite Vrbo informing her to issue a refund. If you want to lose money and have weekend plans ruined, this is the perfect host. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and avoid renting from this host. Clearly the integrity of the host is lacking, and apparently even after an hour on the phone with Vrbo and a guaranteed refund, you still will not receive your refund. Couldn’t be more disappointed in this host or Vrbo for keeping this host.
