Overlooking Big Meadow and out to Mt. Jefferson in the Spring Home area of the ranch, this stylish cabin is truly situated in a magical setting. Enjoy the scenery from the wonderful deck with built-in benches or inside by the woodstove relaxed by the fire in one of the comfortable couches.
This beautiful resort is about 32 miles away from Bend and about nine miles from Sisters.
The main level offers wood beamed vaulted ceilings, open kitchen and dining area, two bedrooms and two baths. The upstairs loft offers two twin sets of bunk beds and a great division of space for kids. This house sleeps a total of eight guests, and you're even welcome to bring up to two dogs along for the fun (a nightly pet fee applies).
The kitchen is equipped with everything you'd need to prepare a terrific meal. The gas BBQ is right outside on the deck. The dining area is open to the family room with new flat screen TV. The warm wood accents make this darling cabin a cozy place to enjoy the ranch. There is a nice collection of books to enjoy, too!
Black Butte is one of Oregon's most desirable resort destinations in Central Oregon. Two exquisite championship golf courses, state of the art spa, 4 pools, tennis, recreation center, stables, miles of hiking and biking trails, near the Cascade Lakes, and many dining options make this a sought after family vacation spot. The charming western town of Sisters is a short 12 miles away and offers incredible dining options, a theater, local brew pubs, antique and coffee shops and is home to the famous Sister's Rodeo.
Camp Sherman is a great day trip just across the entrance of the resort. A trip into the town to feed the fish at the fish hatchery, visit the Camp Sherman General Store or fly fish on the world famous Metolius River is a must see. A hike up Black Butte to the ranger station is a great activity, too!
*At check-in, please be aware that the resort will collect an $8 daily fee for every guest 7 years and older for access. Also, please note that the ranch does not permit motorcycles within the ranch or on any of the Black Butte properties.*

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wifes family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Our family of 5 and our dog had a wonderful time at Spring home 47. We really enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck. The location is perfect. The home is comfortable and well stocked. We were sad to have to leave and can't wait to return again!
This house is in a great location with a beautiful view of the meadow and Mt. Jefferson. It is a very cozy place. But be forewarned for gale force winds on the patio because there is no shelter from the trees. I believe the view is what you pay for with this property, because the house furnishings are kind of tired and worn out. The dining chairs are covered in a hard plastic that you stick to if you are wearing shorts. The ad says there are bikes available, but that was not the case, and unfortunately, I did not take bikes with me for this reason. Could be a really cute place with some updating and maybe a wind shield wall on the patio. I will not return to this particular property.
First off, I highly Black Butte Ranch as a family vacation destination! We enjoyed riding bikes through the ranch, swimming and relaxing at the pools, and just hanging out at the house. If you have not been to Black Butte Ranch recently be sure to check out the Lakeside area.
Regarding the house...
Good location with amazing views of the meadow and Mt. Jefferson.
Plenty of space for our family of four.
Nice outdoor deck.
Instruction where clearly placed around the house.
The cleanliness of the house was good but not great.
Internet was spotty.
The outdoor trash was full when we arrived.
The bed in the master bedroom was not really comfortable, it felt cheap.
Our reservation included two adult bikes however upon our arrival we learned that the owner had recently decided to stop providing bikes. This was a big inconvenience for us in terms of time and stress and we ended up needing to pay to rent bikes from Black Butte Ranch. Half of our cost was refunded by the owner but this entire situation was unacceptable.
As much as I was hoping to return to the same house on our next visit I think we will look for another house to rent.
